Leading Others is designed for mid-to-senior level leadership
roles charged with creating organizational value. Encompassing
nearly 100 hours of orchestrated learning, the program is
completed over a 12 month time period and is supported by a
cross-industry cohort. Enrolled participants will develop both an
actionable leadership development plan and a comprehensive
business plan, leveraging tools and techniques designed to
strengthen areas of opportunity and capitalize key strengths.

THE FORMAT
The program combines a unique opportunity to maximize
learning and development while minimizing time away from
the office. Through a combination of executive coaching and
two highly interactive classroom weeks, you move through
the four program components (Leader Readiness, Leader
Development, Organization Performance, and Leadership
Sustainability) actually implementing as you learn.

DR JEFFREY KAPPENInternational Business and Management, Drake University Professor Kappen has expertise in organizational management, global business, and sustainable development. Kappen directs Drake’s Principal Center for Global Citizenship and the Nelson Institute of International Affairs, and has worked and consulted extensively in international sales, marketing and logistics with Fortune 500 companies. He chairs the largest national chapter of the Academy of International Business. BA, Beloit College; MBA, University of Wisconsin; PhD in Management, University of Massachusetts.
Professor Mitchell’s research and teaching is focused on executive leadership development, risk management and international management. Professor Mitchell has lived and worked in more than 75 countries, consulting Fortune 500 companies and governments on global business strategy. He is Drake’s Madelyn Levitt Teacher of the Year, and is Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce.
