Pose for a Cause:
'Pose for a cause' is a brainchild of Leafcraft, which is a social initiative aiming at giving something back to the society
while also adding value to the XIMB (Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar- one of the top notch B-schools of India) fraternity.
Core Concept of Campaign: While students of well-settled families wish for great profile photos on facebook, some less fortunate children crave for basic education. This Project is aimed at helping the less fortunate children by fulfilling wishes of XIMB students of getting good profile pictures on facebook.
Basic Model of Pose for a cause campaign
The team (comprising of one of the best photographers on XIMB campus) of this campaign captures the photos of the XIMB students for Rs. 50 per click. The money accumulated
after the end of each run of the campaign is donated to child education initiative. This initiative provides support to the less fortunate kids at the grass root level and prepares them for life. The initiative bears of all the expenses of the child’s schooling including the fees ,uniforms, textbooks etc. The annual progress report of the sponsored candidates is provided on the website. Within a month of its launch, 100 registrations have been done & Rs. 5000 have been raised.
