LEAP CEO & FounderMr. Jeffrey Sheng

Mr. Jeffrey Sheng is a pioneer of private equity, venture capital, and investment banking in China. In 1998, he founded Co-Win Venture Resources, an investment and advisory service firm, to help Chinese entrepreneurs with their financing needs. The majority of them have gone IPO successfully or exited through acquisition. He has published more than 20 books on financial service and entrepreneurship in China. Many of them are adopted by top MBA programs in China as textbooks.

Several years ago, Mr. Sheng envisioned the growing trend of in-depth collaboration between American and Chinese businesses.. However, the success of cross-border investment is critically dependent on an effective collaboration between American and Chinese financial institutions. So he moved to the U.S. to focus on developing relations with American financial institutions as well as building a team. By now, both the network and team are ready.

LEAP Core Team Members• Ms. Li is an alumni of Jeffrey. She received Master degree in the U.S. She founded several high-

tech venture and exit successfully . In recent years, She focused on angel investment and M&A transactions between American and Chinese businesses.

• Ms. Hua. graduated from UT Austin. She works in asset management business for 12 years, specializing in private equity and real estate, especially in middle and low market fund

• Ms. Cheng got Master degree both in accounting and biology in States after she got M.D. in medical school in China. She worked in food and pharmaceutical industry for18 years as director of finance.

• Dr. Hu obtained his Ph.D. in electronic engineering in the U.S. and then worked on product development at a renowned American firm. Presently, he works on M&A transactions between American and Chinese businesses. He is a high school alumni of Jeffrey .

• All members have stayed in the U.S. for 16-24 years except Jeffrey.
