Specialisation
Basic (Core Programme) is offered in the morning. These lessons focus on
improving your general language knowledge (grammar, vocabulary, listening,
reading, writing, speaking). During the afternoon you choose optional classes to
focus on your specific needs. For example - Business English, IELTS, TOEIC or
Cambridge exam preparation.

Course content
Your course will focus on the
development of your ski l ls in
speaking, l istening, writing and
reading to ensure a balance of
accuracy and fluency. Courses will
integrate grammatical structures
and functions, guided conversations,
pronunciation, speaking, listening,
writing, reading, communication
practice and vocabulary. All courses
use specifically targeted course
books and authentic materials and
involve group and pair work.

qualified and experienced teachers
who are committed to your learning
success. They organise a varied
and systematic teaching plan to
incorporate your learning needs and
to help you progress.
Your level and assessment
On your first day at Eurocentres
Auckland, you will be tested in
grammar, writing, speaking and
listening so that we can assess
your level of English. You will then
be placed in a class suitable for
your level, from Beginner (Level 1)
through to Advanced (Level 8/9).
During your course your progress is
assessed through regular testing by
your teachers. As you progress, you
will also change classes to ensure that
you are in the most suitable class for
your level.

The Core Programme consists of 20 morning
lessons per week. The programme develops
all aspects of your language competence.
Afternoons are free - giving you the
opportunity to relax and explore Auckland.
