Sunday, March 18, 2012 from 1:00-3:00pm First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis 900 Mount Curve Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55403 Join Metro CERT and Minnesota Interfaith Power and Light to learn about the First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis’s efforts to reduce energy costs for their congregation. First Unitarian Society recently won the EPA Energy Star Battle of the Buildings competition. They're saving over $16,000 in the first year almost entirely from no-cost and low-cost opportunities. This event will provide specific ideas and suggestions for other congregations and community groups on ways to save energy in their buildings, and how to mobilize and recognize their members in doing so.
