Participants will hear from officials – including some VU alumni – who work in the Executive and Legislative branches of government as well as scientific societies, associations and coalitions who are actively engaged in influencing and promoting federal investments in science and engineering. Hosted by the Vanderbilt University Office of Federal Relations in partnership with The Vanderbilt Graduate School, the BRET Office of Career Development, the School of Engineering, and the Center for Student Professional Development. The BRET Office of Career Development ASPIRE Program is excited toannounce the 2018 ASPIRE Modules, now in its 5th year!

The ASPIRE Modules are short, non-creditbearing electives that broaden the trainingexperiences of biomedical sciences trainees. These skill-based modules are open to any biomedicalsciences PhD student or postdoctoral fellow whowishes to take them to supplement their researchtraining. Class size may be limited, however, andwill vary by module. For general modulequestions, refer to the FAQ page.
