Enrolment Form General Conditions All participants must abide by the general terms and conditions of Roar Fitness 24/7 including the club and Regulations. Management reserves the right to refuse entry, or request any person to leave the premises if that person does not behave in a responsible manner, uses abusive language, is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol or does not adhere to the general conditions of entry. Every effort will be made to adhere to the timetable however Roar Fitness 24/7 reserves the right to change and alter classes as necessary. Payment of Fees Direct Debit Option- Ongoing fortnightly payment through direct debit to a credit card or bank account is available with completion of all required enrolment forms prior to the commencement of lessons. Learn to Swim (LTS) participation may be cancelled once the minimum 16 week period is completed. A $20 one-off administration fee is payable per family for this payment option. Participants can join the LTS program at any time throughout the year and no re-enrolment process is required. Up Front Payment - Up Front Payment can be made via cash, eftpos or credit card prior to the commencement of lessons. Payment is for a 16 week block of lessons. Participants can join the LTS program at any time throughout the year. Participants selecting this payment method will need to re-enrol prior to the conclusion of each 16 week period. Suspension Periods LTS participants may apply to suspend their on-going LTS direct debit payments throughout the year. Two weeks' suspension is permitted each 16 week period and two weeks' notice must be given to the Club prior to the suspension period taking effect. Suspensions may not be carried over to future 16 week periods. No suspension periods are available for those on the up-front payment option. Assessments So as to determine the appropriate class level, all participants will receive a free initial skills assessment at the commencement of their enrolment. Subsequent skill assessments will be conducted as part of the program and will be on an on-going basis as children progress at their own pace. All level progress will be at the discretion of the instructor in consultation with the Swim School Coordinator. Progress and Certificates Certificates of participation and achievement will be issued by the LTS instructor upon completion of a level. Students will progress through the stages of the program as they achieve the required skills and confidence. The rate at which each of the student's progress will be assessed on an individual basis. Club Access All LTS participants must swipe or present their membership cards at reception each time they attend a lesson. If the participant misplaces their card the Club must be notified immediately. LTS participation provides access to the aquatic facilities, lounge and change rooms for the period of their lesson while in the direct company of their supervising adult. This access is on a non-exclusive basis and Club members may be using the aquatic facilities at the same time as the scheduled lesson. Missed Lessons In the event of 24 hours' notice being given to the Club a make-up lesson may be applied for make-up lessons are available for illness or for family holiday. A maximum of two make up classes can be applied for in a 16 week block of lessons and must be taken within that same period. Carryover of make-up lessons is not permitted. While every attempt will be made to accommodate requests the Club cannot guarantee instructor preference or time slot preference for make-up lessons. Lessons missed without the required notice period will not be eligible to apply for make-up classes. Cancellations On completion of the 16 week minimum period, LTS participants may cancel their ongoing direct debit enrolment by providing one full direct debit period as notice. The cancellation notice is required to be made on the Roar Fitness 24/7 Aquatic Education cancellation form only. The cancellation will be effective from the end of a direct debit period. Requests for refunds may be made under exceptional circumstances but will be at the sole discretion of the Club. A $25 administration fee will apply to all refunds. Supervision Parents are not permitted to leave children unaccompanied at any time while they are in the Club. This includes the period that the lesson is being conducted. Health and Wellbeing Appropriate, clean and suitable swimming attire is required for entry to the aquatic facilities. Participants are requested to shower prior to entering the pool. We request that children up to the age of 24 months wear swimwear with elastic waist. and leg bands or "aqua nappies". Disposable or cloth nappies are not permitted. We recommend the use of goggles and swim caps at all times. School Holidays and Public Holidays This program is ongoing from mid-January to mid-December and as such will operate through School Holidays. Lessons will not be scheduled on public holidays. If your scheduled lesson falls on a public holiday, a make-up lesson will apply. The program does not operate over the Christmas - New Year period.
