Financial Markets and Instruments Programme: This Financial Markets & Instruments (FMI) Programme is delivered at a National Certificate level, a Bankseta Accredited NQF level 6 qualification. The level of instruction has been aligned to the CFA Claritas or CFA Level 1 programme. This has been enhanced with local South African specific content, especially focusing on elements such as the regulatory framework. Novia One (Incorporating Hedge Fund Academy) is currently a provider of specialist technical programmes to a number of the Banks and other financial institutions and the South African regulators such as the FSB, SARB and National Treasury. This programme can be attended as a stand-alone programme or as a Learnership.

Regulatory Focus
• Given the current increase in regulatory requirements and oversight, the core structure of the programme has a heavy regulatory bias and a number of topics are covered in the context of the regulations.

BEE Scorecard & Structuring With the introduction of the amended BEE codes, skills development has become even more important under the codes. Through this program Novia One (Incorporating Hedge Fund Academy) would be able to optimise the employers spend on learnerships to provide maximum points towards the scorecard by proving a structured solution.
