Unexpected Proposal Ideas
Let’s face it, Valentine’s Day is the day most people expect a proposal. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t propose, but you should find a way to make it unique! Here are
some ways to take your proposal idea to a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL and create that perfect moment for the special love in your life.
Your idea ~ Create a trail of sweet sayings with candy conversation hearts and at the end of the trail, using paper hearts to look like the candy, spell out “Will You Marry Me?” Unexpected Idea ~ Use your technology resources to send your love a few messages throughout the day, leave a sweet voicemail message at their place of work, send an e-card with a romantic poem, send a text with your favorite photo of the two of you, or make a video proposal and upload it to a private YouTube page, send them the link or tell them you have a cool video to show them, just be sure to be with them when they view it so you can present the ring! Your idea ~ Make reservations at your love’s favorite restaurant and have the ring placed in their dessert. Unexpected idea ~ Sign up for a Couple’s Cooking Class, contact the instructor and ask how you can incorporate your proposal. You could have the instructor call you and your partner to the front of the class to “taste test” what you’ve just learned and have the ring hidden nearby. Your idea ~ Buy your sweetheart a big heart shaped box filled with chocolates and replace the center candy with the ring. Unexpected Idea ~ Have a chocolatier create a chocolate gift box that you can put the ring box inside of. Surround the box with chocolate truffles and fresh fruit on a platter and present it as dessert along with your favorite bubbly. Ask them to open the chocolate box first and be ready to make that proposal official.
There really is no wrong way to go about a proposal. Whichever way you choose to propose, make sure it’s fun and reflects the love you have for your significant other
and it will be perfect!
Congratulations and we wish you a LIFETIME of happiness!
