O que é LEED?
Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC),
LEED is a framework for identifying, implementing, and
measuring green building and neighborhood design,
construction, operations, and maintenance.
LEED seeks to optimize the use of natural
resources, promote regenerative and restorative
strategies, maximize the positive and minimize
the negative environmental and human health
consequences of the construction industry, and
provide high-quality indoor environments for
building occupants.
Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design (LEED):
• Verifica que um prédio (ou bairro) e projetado,
construído, e operado conforme princípios de
sustentabilidade estabelecidos pelo GBC;
• Projeto tem de atender 8 pré-requisitos;
• Projeto ganha pontuação conforme atende os
objetivos de 9 categorias;
• Certificação a partir de 40 pontos.
Por que LEED?
Sustentabilidade
Atender as necessidades da
geração atual sem sacrificar as
necessidades de gerações
futuras.
