Plagiarism

Certificate of Originality

Student Code of Conduct

The University of Phoenix (UOP) has a strict policy against the plagiarism of others work and self-plagiarism. It uses Turn-it-in Plagiarism Checker to verify the authenticity of students’ work. Comparisons are made to UOP documents, the Internet, and other public journal databases. This is performed to the academic integrity of the university (Academic Policies and Procedures, 2013).

With each assignment, students are required to separately submit a Certificate of Originality. This is equivalent to a signature, indicating that the work students’ submit rightfully belongs to them (Academic Policies and Procedures, 2013).

All UOP students must abide by the Student Code of Academic Integrity which is part of the Student Code of Conduct. It encompasses statements regarding plagiarism and behavior (Academic Policies and Procedures, 2013).
