THE LEGATUS MISSION To study, live and spread the Faith in our business, professional and personal lives. Study: Ongoing education is at the heart of Legatus. We are matching members, who have a thirst for knowledge, with the most profound and convincing body of religious knowledge in the history of human thought. Live: Translating the teachings of Christ and the social teachings of the Church into practical applications help our members become eminently pragmatic about their faith. Spread: Legatus is the Latin word for “Ambassador”. Our members don’t typically wear their faith on their shirtsleeves. They spread the faith through good example, good deeds and high ethical standards. Legatus currently provides service to over 2,500 businesses in over 90 chapters (and growing) across the United States, and internationally on three continents. Fr. Calloway, MIC, a convert, is a member of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. Before his conversion, he was a high school dropout who had been kicked out of a foreign country, institutionalized twice, and thrown in jail multiple times. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC, and an S.T.L. in Mariology from the International Marian Research Institute in Dayton, Ohio.
