A popular Halloween game is apple bobbing. Play the apple bobbing game! Put the apples in the water. Use your mouth to remove the apples. Don’t use your hands!

A Halloween tradition is the Jack O’Lantern. A Jack O’Lantern is a pumpkin with a face. It’s got a candle in it. It protects your house from bad spirits on Halloween night.

Make a Jack O’Lantern

1 Remove the top of the pumpkin.

2 Remove the contents.

3 Cut a face in the pumpkin.

4 Put a candle in the pumpkin.

Trick or Treat? is another popular Halloween tradition. A ‘trick’ is a bad joke and ‘treats’ are chocolates or sweets!

Fun at Halloween!

‘There’s a Halloween party at our school with witches, ghosts and monsters! There are sweets and games. There’s also music and a disco.’
