Meeting last week with the Christian Training Network Adm. committee for Latin America and the Caribbean. What a privilege to participate in the Assemblies of Centennial Celebration in Springfield, Missouri! Leaders from 120 nations sang with joy and rejoiced in God's miracles and marvels over the last 100 years. The stadium was filled with praise -- not for AG accomplishments - but His. Our priority -- that in all things He be glorified. We were challenged to give our all as we began a new centennial on our knees dedicated to fulfilling God's call and our foundational principles. May this movement spearhead the greatest evangelistic effort the world has ever seen. Twelve weeks of treatment in the USA from May through July, plus God's provision in much prayer, a place to stay, a car and finances, add up to a celebration of healing! This has been confirmed by "zero viral load" in the last several lab reports for my HepC (infected by unscreened blood transfusions in 1982). Fortunately the side effects of the medications were mild and I was able to continue working from California on the upcoming Faith and Action Bible Study text for "Cross-cultural Communications". There is still some writing and much editing to be done. Thanks for your prayers as I persevere in this wonderful ministry opportunity. In April, 2014 - Dr. Quentin McGhee, Director of Faith and Action Series, and his wife Elizabeth hosted me as we worked on the CCCtextbook. Editing work with Dr. McGhee will continue during October and November of this year. Other ministry opportunities continue. It's wonderful to be back in Bogota, Colombia getting organized after a four month absence. In a few days I'm headed to the second Educator's Summit of 2014 for another four hundred Bible School Directors and teachers. This will be held in Uruguay for the Southern Cone of Latin America.
