How to Use:Remove wand from mascara bottle, and clean off excess product from the brush. To apply, comb from the base of your lashes through to the tips. Build length with additional coats.

How to Remove:Take off the mascara with any Beautycounter cleanser. Works best with Routine Clean Cream Cleanser, Charcoal Cleansing Bar, Nourishing Balm, or Soothing Baby Oil.

SAFETY WORKSOther cosmetic brands commonly use ingredients in their mascara formulation that have been linked to adverse health effects, including cancer. Propylparaben, butylparaben, and butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) are preser-vatives commonly used in mascaras that can mimic estrogen and there is strong evidence that they can, in fact, disrupt hormone function. The U.S. National Toxicology Program has also classified BHA as a potential carcin-ogen. Another common preservative, quaternium-15, may release formaldehyde, a known carcinogen, into the formula. Polyethylene glycols (PEGs), such as the emulsifier PEG-30 glyceryl stearate, can be contaminated with the known carcinogen 1,4-dioxane.

-Always build mascara beginning in the center of the eye for the ultimate eye-opening effect. Then, focus on the outside of the lash to help give the appearance of larger eyes.

-Focus on the base of the lash line to deposit pigment and add definition, then concentrate on sweeping the mascara through the tips for length.

-Many mascaras give bottom lashes a clumpy, spider-like finish. Lengthening Mascara, however, is ideal for defining them. Hold the wand vertically, focusing on painting each lash from the center through the outside corners.
