The Colour RunSpecial mention to Max B in Year 5 who raised $700 and has donated his prizes to the school. Wow! Thanks Max!Thank you to all the families that raised money through the Colour Run. Also a massive thanks to the P&C and Mr Greetree for organsing the event and all the parents that came along on the day to help!

Year 4 Tallebudgera ExcursionThe Year 4 students had a wonderful time at the Tall-ebudgera Sport and Recreation Camp last week. They were involved in canoeing, bouldering, pool games, bodyboarding, cooperative games, catapulting and even a disco!

While participating in these activities they were learn-ing valuable skills about being safe, the importance of communication, listening attentively, using positive body language and collaborating with others to achieve a com-mon goal.

It was great to see all the smiles and happy faces of the students while their thinking was being challenged during these fun and exciting tasks. The food was pretty good too and we were all hungry at the end of each session. The students were really keen to eat fruit but we do need to improve eating our vegetables and trying new foods.

So overall a fantastic time was had by all. We arrived home pretty tired but that was only because we hadexerted ourselves. It is hoped that our students have plenty of new memories that will be cherished in years to come from our Year 4 camp. Stage 2 Teachers

This map shows the average ultraviolet (UV) radiation at noon during spring in Australia. In NSW, the average UV levels are high enough (UV 3 or above) to damage unprotected skin for most, if not all of the school day.

Whatever the weather, if the UV levels are 3 or more, it’s important for staff and children to Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek and Slide!

Download the SunSmart App and share the local daily UV level and sun protection times with your community.
