Your teacher asked you to visit the tool room in
your school. You noticed that the cutting tools are dull and cannot be used properly because of the
formation of rust.

Step 1: Prepare all the materials needed to clean and sharpen your tools. Sandpaper, whetstone, oil, and rags are the basics materials used to sharpen cutting tools.
Step 2: Select a place in your shop where you can position your tools sturdily. Vise and clamps are useful tools to hold your cutting tools tightly while being sanded or cleaned.
Step 3: Dismantle cutting tools like hedge shears to clean conveniently.
Step 4: Sand the tools carefully to removed rust. Use whetstone to sharpen tools like knives, bolos, and shears. You may apply lubricating oil to prevent the formation of rust.
Step 5: Clean tools thoroughly and keep it in a dry place of your tool room.
