Difference is the state of being unlike an other

• Think of the vastness of difference• Imagine if you could put all the faces you know, all

the faces you have seen and all the faces you might see in one picture…..

•do you know all differences or will you be able to know all differences in the future? •Now think of the meaning of difference against difference

Page 4: Lesson Plan

It’s all about difference

• How many differences can you think of?

• Is difference only about how a person looks?

• We learn from difference because it is what we all have in common.

Page 5: Lesson Plan

•Customs, values, beliefs and behaviour may be wrong

•Difference in itself is not wrong, it is the foundation of life and the basis of change and evolution

•But we make our choices, which is always an ongoing process and we respect the choices of others

Page 7: Lesson Plan

Conclusion• There are millions of

differences around us and it takes time for people to understand them and accept them. We must show patience.

• And remember you never fully know the consequences of your actions.

Page 12: Lesson Plan

Are the following statements true or false? Explain why: 1. Women are not as strong as men and

therefore they do not bully others. 2. Bullies do not change their behaviour. 3. Bullies come from all levels of society,

poor and rich. 4. Bullies are always tall, large and very

aggressive. 5. You should always fight back against a

bully. 6. Bystanders should report bullying to

adults capable of resolving the problem. It is not a matter of snitching but of respecting the sufferer and of helping the bully become aware of the consequences of such behaviour.
