11 WHY SPIRIT FAITH?
It is possible that some of these lessons may take more time than one class to complete.
When you are teaching be sure and flow with the speed of the class. Some classes will
need time for questions and answers, others will not and you can progress more rapidly
unless extra, relevant discussions arise. Remember...your only purpose in teaching the
word of God to others is to help them become strong disciples of Jesus and to share His
Spirit and truth with others.

ARRANGING YOUR FAITH CARDS
1. Cards must be completed according to instructions listed on RESEARCH SHEET!
2. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to teach, lead, and guide you into the hidden truth of these verses and
words. Ask Him to show you personally, how to break these verses and words down into separate
headings and titles. Jesus said that this was his job, now ask Him to do it and believe that He will.
3. Starting with your first card, Deut. 32:20, read it through and then let the Holy Spirit show you
what kind of title or category you should place it in.
4. Take a small piece of scrap paper and write the title or category on that paper and place it on top
of the card (Deut. 32:20). Set the card and title to one side.
5. Take the next card (Hab. 2:4) read it, let the Holy Spirit tell you what it means, where it should be
placed, the title, or category. Write that title or category also on a piece of paper (if it is different
than the first title), place it on this second card and set it aside next to the first card.
6. Repeat the same procedure as mentioned above with card No. 3. Be aware of the titles and
categories that you have already opened up and fit those cards into those areas as the Holy Spirit
would lead. If they do not fit into what you already have, then let Him show you what the new
title or category should be.
7. REMEMBER! If you do not seem to receive a title or category immediately, just put that card to
the bottom of your stack and go on to the next card. The next time the card appears perhaps the
Holy Spirit will have already opened a category for it.
8. Continue this process. Take your time. Let the Holy Spirit guide you in the placement of each
card. Look for the spiritual meaning, the practical, the purpose. Who? What? When? Why?
Wherefore? How? People with Faith...Without Faith...Results of Faith... Results of unbelief...etc.
etc. No limits with the Holy Spirit!
9. When you have placed all the cards into various titles and categories, then make a list of those
categories. Place them in the order that you feel you would teach or share with someone else. In
other words, what would be the first thing about FAITH (from your cards and titles) that you
would share with others? What would you say next? Imagine that each of your titles was an
island. You want to take your people from Island "A" to Island "Z" in the Ocean of FAITH. You
can't land on more than one island at a time. Each island must take you closer to island "Z". You
have the choice of which island (title) to build a bridge to, in order to build a bridge off from that
island to the next. Step by step lead your listeners through the field of FAITH. SEE NEXT PAGE
FOR EXAMPLE!!!
ARRANGING YOUR FAITH CARDS continued
Begin Faith
10. After you believe that you have your card titles or categories arranged in the way the Holy Spirit
led you, write out the titles on a sheet of paper. Sometimes by writing them all down in order the
Holy spirit will show you additional changes that could be made to better lead your people from
one "island" to another. Don't be afraid of making changes. Quite often the Holy Spirit is able to
lead you from one place to another only AFTER you make attempts at facing truth, with an open
mind and heart, and then He is able to take you up another step into further revelation.
11. After you think everything is completed, finished, and ready to be shared with someone
else...then stop, and read the complete set of scriptures out loud to yourself. Watch the scriptures
in connection with the titles. You may want to take a card out of one category and move it to
another.
12. It is also quite possible that a given verse may belong in two, or more, categories. If you see such
scriptures appear like that, simply mark the scriptures reference on another 3X5 card and place it
in the other category you feel it would also belong. Later you can go through the cards again and
write or type out the complete scripture.
13. It is possible that you may change the titles, order of titles, cards within the category, etc. etc.
many times in the future. Do not be afraid to do so. The Holy Spirit will constantly help you to
refine your work as time goes on and your personal knowledge of God increases. Never close
your mind and heart to changes the Holy Spirit may show you as you grow in Him. One of the
great problems in the church today is that many have hardened their hearts and minds against
further revelation and therefore miss the deeper and simple teachings of the Holy Spirit in the
Word of God.
14. After you feel that you have settled the final order, titles, etc. you may want to mark the whole
set with some type of letter, number sequence. This will prevent you from being totally lost if
you should drop your cards on the floor. Your categories could be labeled with letters from A to
Z and cards in a respective category would be labeled as A-1, A-2, etc. another category would
be B-1, B-2,etc. Be sure your complete teaching is well settled before you attempt this. Of
course, you still can change or remark after the set is "complete."
