THE POWER OF THE CROSS

His Will Be Done The very things about the

suffering of Jesus that disturbed them

became clear proof that He was the Messiah of the Old Testament!

Whatever the Bible says will happen, must happen!

God’s warnings and promises will not fail to take place!

Matthew 24:35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Isaiah 40:8The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.“

They focused on passages that proclaimed “Messiah as a Glorious King”,

but overlooked those that revealed the “Messiah must suffer to save mankind!”

Jesus Expounded or explained how the OT taught both.

“He who hid the treasure in the field guided the searchers to it.”  

“He made sense of it.” “Yes I am a king but some aspects

must wait.” By His teaching, Jesus removed the

veil of ignorance, enabling the disciples to understand the OT Scriptures pertaining to His rejection, suffering, and death.

Why? So they could pass on the Good News

What else will/must happen?

THERE IS A REDEEMER

There is a Redeemer,Jesus, God’s own Son;Precious Lamb of God,

Messiah, Holy One.
