There’s a huge hill to climb. Miss
a turn!
It’s a sunny
day, so there are no puddles
to jump in! Go back
one space!
Oh no, we forgot Mr

1 tsp vanilla essence
3 eggs
50g cocoa powder
270g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
240ml milk
500ml cream
500g dark chocolate
Equipmentoven
baking paper
round cake tin
bowl
cooling rack
electric whisk
Method1. Preheat the oven to
180˚C or gas mark 4.
2. Line a 22cm round cake tin with baking paper and grease the sides so that the cake does not stick.
3. Using an electric whisk, cream the butter, sugar and vanilla essence until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
4. Sift the cocoa powder, flour and baking powder together and add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin.

6. While the cake is cooling, prepare the chocolate ganache topping. Pour the cream into a saucepan and heat gently. Bring up to a simmer, but do not boil. Take it off the heat and add the broken-up chocolate, stirring until all of the chocolate is melted.
7. When the cake is cooled and on a plate, pour the chocolate ganache over the top of the cake.

Peppa Pig Movement Cards and Dice
Can you stomp in the mud like Emily Elephant or hop in a puddle like Rebecca Rabbit? What about jumping up and down in muddy puddles like Peppa Pig?
For this activity, you’ll need to cut out and stick together the cube nets to make two movement dice. Each time you roll one, there will be a move to act out!
To help you with your moves, there are also some movement cards that describe the fun moves that Peppa Pig and some of her friends make.
This activity can be played indoors or outdoors, but needs some space to roam around and be energetic. Have fun!

Peppa Says Copying GameAre you ready for a game of Peppa Says?
For this game you’ll need at least two people, although you can play with many more! To prepare, cut out the action cards and find an open space indoors or outdoors where there’s enough room to move around a bit.
InstructionsChoose one person to be the caller (perhaps an adult or older sibling who is comfortable reading). They choose an action card and read it aloud so that the other players can copy it - but there’s a catch! The players should only copy the action if the caller says ‘Peppa says’ before it.
• For example, if the caller says ‘Peppa says put on your boots’, the other players should pretend to put on their boots.
• If the caller says ‘Put on your boots’ without saying ‘Peppa says’ first, then the other players should stand still and do nothing.

Granny Pig’s Fruity Orange Cupcakes
Ingredients100g caster sugar
100g softened butter
100g self raising flour
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp orange zest
For the icing150g softened butter
300g icing sugar
2 oranges
EquipmentCupcake tray
12 cupcake cases
Large mixing bowl
Small mixing bowl
Wooden spoon
Fork
Wire cooling rack
Icing bag
MethodFor the cupcakes:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 4).
2. Put a cupcake case in each hole of the cupcake tray.
3. Put the sugar and 100g of softened butter in the large mixing bowl and mix it together. It should be fluffy and creamy once combined.
4. Sift the flour into the bowl to get rid of any lumps, then fold the flour into the sugar and butter mixture.
5. Break the eggs into the small mixing bowl and whisk together with a fork.
6. Add the vanilla extract, orange zest and the eggs to the butter, sugar and flour mixture and mix together.
7. Divide the cake mixture out evenly between the 12 cupcake cases.
8. Bake the cupcakes in the oven for 20 minutes or until the cupcakes are golden.
9. Once the cupcakes have cooked, move them to the wire rack (in their cases) to cool completely. Letting the cakes cool fully stops the icing from melting during decoration.

For the icing and decorations:
1. Put the 150g of softened butter in a bowl and sift the icing sugar on top. Mix together with an electric mixer (or quickly and thoroughly with a whisk). The result should be light and fluffy.
2. Finely grate the oranges and stir the zest into the buttercream mixture.
3. Use a piping bag to top your cooled cupcakes with the orange buttercream.
4. For the orange topping, thinly slice the remaining orange fruit.
5. If you would like to dry out the slices (optional), place them between two sheets of kitchen roll and gently press to absorb some of the orange juice.
6. Remove the orange slices from the kitchen roll, place them onto a wire rack and put into a warm pre-heated oven (120°C or gas mark 1 or 2) for about 30 minutes. You will need to turn the slices every 10 minutes to prevent them from burning.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool before using them to top your cupcakes.

For the fillings:• Daddy Pig’s favourite food is chocolate! Have you ever tried chocolate spread sandwiches? Yum yum!
• Peppa and Mummy Pig both love spaghetti - but you can’t put that in a sandwich! How about trying some sliced tomatoes or lettuce with sliced sandwich meats or cheese?
• George could eat a whole punnet of strawberries - but on his sandwiches, he has strawberry jam instead.
• Emily Elephant has an unusual favourite - bananas! She puts banana slices in her sandwiches or on toast.
• Candy Cat likes fish fingers more than any other food - except maybe milk. Fish finger sandwiches are delicious! She likes hers with a little ketchup too.
• Freddie Fox’s favourite food is eggs! To make egg mayo sandwiches, hard boil 2 eggs and let them cool. Peel off the shells and mash together with some mayonnaise for a tasty sandwich filling.

Are you ready for a muddy puddle walk? Click here to watch the video and join in!
Why not play a game of musical puddles and freeze when the song pauses? You could even drop to the ground like you’re sitting in the puddles!
Can you march on the spot as the song plays? What muddy puddle dance moves can you do?
