Purple cabbage will make blue eggs

Instructions:

- Bring ½ liter of water to a boil. - Add the chopped cabbage.- Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.- Remove from heat and allow to cool.- Strain liquid into a jar or other container.- Add 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar.- Soak the eggs in the dye.

- For lighter colored eggs leave them for a short time (30 minutes).

- For darker eggs, let them soak for at least 4 hours or overnight.

- Remove eggs from dye and allow to dry on a paper towel.

Beets will make pink eggs

- Multiple soaks will help make darker colors..- Remove eggs from dye and allow to dry on a paper towel.

Turmeric will make yellow eggs

Instructions:- Bring ½ liter of water to a boil. - Add 2 tablespoons turmeric.- Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes.- Remove from heat and allow to cool.- Strain liquid into a jar or other

container.- Add 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar.- Soak the eggs in the dye.

- For lighter colored eggs leave them for a short time (30 minutes).

- Multiple soaks will help make darker colors..

- Remove eggs from dye and allow to dry on a paper towel.
