    LETG Mobile Main Screen There are two separate but similar Main screen configuration for Mobile. These changes are dependent

    upon if your unit is “Not Assigned to an Event,” or if your unit is “Assigned to an Event.”

    Unit Not Assigned to an Event

    The following configuration exists for a unit that is “Not Assigned to an Event”:

    • Active Tabs – By default, these tabs are listed across the top of the screen

    o Event Info

    o Instant Message

    o Units

    o CJIS Query

    • Main Viewing Area - In the Main Viewing Area, the words “Not Assigned to an Event” will be

    displayed

    • Home Row Buttons – The Home Row buttons displayed are for a unit that is “Not Assigned to an

    Event” are:

    o Emergency (F11)

    o Out of Service (F8)

    o Field Event (F7)

    o Field Reporting (F5)

    o Other Apps

    o Expand/Collapse Icon

    (Circle/Arrow button)

    � Recent Incidents

    (Control + D)

    � Saved Info

    � Log Off

    • Notifications Section

    o Connectivity Icon

    o Satellite Icon

    o Speaker Icon

    o Sun/Moon Icon – Day/Night

    Mode

    o Settings Icon

    • Unit Sidebar

    o Unit Buttons

    • Event Sidebar

    o Location History Tab

    Main Viewing

    Area

    Unit Assigned to an Event

    The following configuration exists for a unit “Assigned to an Event” (Figures 3):

    • Event Info Tab –This will display the Event Info screen In the Main Viewing Area. The Event that

    the unit is assigned to will be displayed. The information will appear in the following sections (as

    applicable for the Event):

    o Event

    o Persons

    o Vehicles

    o Notes

    • Event Action Buttons – The following Event Action buttons will appear above the Home Row

    buttons::

    o En Route

    o On Scene

    o Custom Status

    o Clear (F12)

    o More Actions

    � Map Event

    � IM Event *

    � CAD Disposition **

    * The IM Event button will only appear if the Event you are viewing has at least two units

    assigned to the Event. This allows you to quickly Instant Message all Units assigned to

    the same Event.

    Event Info Screen

    Click on the Event Info tab to access the Event Info screen. The Event Info screen has these five sections

    (Figure 4):

    • Event

    • Person

    • Vehicles

    • Notes

    • Event Action Buttons

    Event Section

    The Event section displays the Event information. The section displays the ICR #, CAD Event ID, Event

    Type, Event Status (configurable), Event Address, and Reported Date/Time. The ICR # is a hyperlink to

    the Incident in RMS.

    Person Section

    The Person section displays Person information from the assigned CAD Event. If a CJIS Query has been

    run (via LETG CAD) on a person that has been added to the Event, the person entry on the screen will

    change to the gray background.

    Vehicles Section

    The Vehicles section displays Vehicle information from the assigned CAD Event. If a CJIS Query has been

    run (via LETG CAD) on a vehicle that has been added to the Event, the vehicle entry on the screen will

    change to the gray background. Selecting the vehicle with the gray background will display the results of

    the CJIS Query in the CJIS Results tab

    Notes Section

    The Notes section displays all of the Notes for the assigned Event. The newest Note will be listed on the

    bottom by default.

    Command Line

    The Command Line is programmed with codes that are applied to quickly perform standard functions

    (e.g. CJIS Queries, Instant Messages, etc.). The Command Line is hidden. To display the Command Line,

    just start typing and the Command Line will appear above the Active Tabs section. To hide the Command

    Line, clear all characters from the Command Line and press the Enter button on your keyboard.

    Command Line – CJIS Queries

    CJIS Queries can be run using the Command Line. To do so, enter the info to query and click on the

    appropriate Function Key. Examples are:

    • F1 – Driver’s License (by Number) – Enter the driver’s license number and press the F! button

    • F2 – License Plate – Enter the license plate numbers and press the F2 button (Figure 5)

    • F3 - Person – Enter the name to run (Last, First Middle) and D.O.B. and press the F# button

    Command Line – Instant Messages

    You can send Instant Messages from the Command Line. Take the following steps to send an Instant

    Message from the Command Line:

    • Command Line - Access the Command Line from any screen by pressing the Enter button on

    your keyboard

    • Instant Message

    o Type in the Instant Message command, followed by the message

    � Example - IM (Space) Unit Number (Space) Type in your message

    • Enter Button – Press the Enter button ton your keyboard to send the Instant Message

    LETG Mobile Active Tabs

    The Active Tabs (Figure 7) will allow you to easily switch back-and-forth between different screens. The

    following Active Tabs are configured to display on startup:

    • Event Info

    • Instant Message

    • Units

    • CJIS Query

    Additional Tabs

    Additional tabs (Figure 8) will appear when they are accessed through a button or function key.

    Examples of these other tabs are Saved Info & Settings.

    LETG Mobile Information Section

    The Mobile Information section (Figure 9) is located above the Units Sidebar. It includes the following

    information:

    • Arrows Icon – Mobile Server Connection Indicator

    • Satellite Icon – GPS Connection Indicator

    • Speaker Icon – Indicates if sounds are muted

    • Day/Night Mode Icon – Alllows you to switch between Day Mode & Night Mode

    • Settings Icon – Accesses Settings screen

    LETG Mobile Unit Sidebar

    The Unit Sidebar displays the units that are logged into LETG CAD and/or Mobile. A Unit button will

    appear for each unit (Figure 9). There are numerous configuration options (Settings�User

    Preferences). The following will be displayed for each unit in the Unit Sidebar:

    • Unit ID

    • Event Type – Only if the Unit is assigned to an Event

    • Event Subtype – Event Subtype as displayed in CAD (if applicable)

    • Event Location – Only if the Unit is assigned to an Event.

    • Status – The current Status for the Unit

    • Map Icon – Map the location of this Unit

    • IM Icon – Send an Instant Message to the Unit

    • No MDC Icon – Indicates the Mobile Unit is not signed into an MDC, the Map icon & IM icon will be removed from the Unit Sidebar

    • Expand/Collaps Arrows - These arrows can be used to expand or collaps the Unit Sidebar

    • The colors of the icons will match the Unit Status colors in LETG CAD

    Event Sidebar

    The Event Sidebar (Figure 10) displays CAD Events and RMS Incidents in three sub-sections: Location

    History, Previous Events, and Pending Events. To view any of the Events in the Event Sidebar, just click

    on the Event in the Event Sidebar and it will display in the Main Viewing area

    Location History

    The Location History section was designed with “Officer Safety” in mind. If you have been assigned to

    an Event (or just viewing an Event in the system), you have the capability to view previous calls to the

    location.

    Previous Events

    The Previous section displays the last 10 Assigned and Closed Incidents from LETG CAD and LETG RMS.

    When you login to LETG Mobile, by default the system will load the Event Sidebar in the “Previous”

    mode.

    Pending Events

    The Pending section will display Pending Events in CAD.

    Event Sidebar – Info Displayed

    The information displayed in each of the Event windows is:

    • Agency – The Agency of the Event

    • Event Type & Event Subtype – The Event Type & Subtype of the Event

    • Location – Location of the Event

    • Status – Event status in CAD

    • New – The “New” notation will be added to each Event that you have not previously seen

    CJIS Query

    Besides using the Command Line to run a CJIS Query, you can run a CJIS Query using a pre-formatted

    CJIS Query from by clicking on the CJIS Query tab. The following preformatted CJIS Query forms located

    in the CJIS Query screen are:

    • Driver’s License (F1)

    • License Plate (F2)

    • Person (F3)

    • Stolen Vehicle

    • Driver’s Name

    • Vehicle Reg/Lien

    • Vehicle Owner

    • Boat

    • Off Road Vehicle

    • Snowmobile

    • Firearm Safety

    • Swipe DL

    • Article

    • Carry Permit

    • VIN

    • Gun Query

    To run a CJIS Query, take the following steps:

    • Click on the appropriate query button (License Plate, Swipe DL, etc…)

    • Complete the form with the requested information

    • Click on the Submit button

    CJIS Results & CJIS Results Tree

    The “CJIS Results” tab (Figure 12) will appear in the Active tabs section once a CJIS Query has been

    executed (and results have returned). The “CJIS Results” tab will flash and display the number of results

    that were returned. An audible alert can also be configured by the System Administrator. To view a CJIS

    Result, click on the CJIS Result tab.

    The CJIS Results Tree will appear on the left side of the screen. There is individual buttons for each part

    of the CJIS Return/ Click on one of these buttons to view that part of the CJIS Result. Also, there is a

    Dangerous Word funciotn that will highlighti key words (Revoked, Warrant, etc…). The key words to be

    highlighted are determined by the Customer.

    Units Screen As part of the default configuration, Mobile will have a screen dedicated to Units. You can access this

    screen by clicking on the Units tab. In the Settings section, you can determine which Agencies and/or

    Units you want to be included in the Units tab.

    After clicking on the Units tab, you will notice that each Unit has its own Unit button.

    Out of Service

    You have the ability to assign yourself to the Out of Service status by clicking on the Out of Service

    button located (a Home Row buttons). After clicking on the Out of Service button, the Out of Service

    screen will appear. Complete the form and click on the Submit button.

    Field Event

    If you need to generate an Event from the field, you can do so by clicking on the Field Event button (a

    Home Row button). Once clicking on the Field Event button, the Field Event screen will appear.

    Complete the form and click on the Submit button.

    Field Reporting

    IF your agency uses LETG Field Reporting (accident reports, citations, vehicle impounds), clicking on the

    Field Reporting button (Home Row button) will launch the LETG Field Reporting application.

    Other Apps Button

    If you click on the Other Apps button (a Home Row button) the system will display additional application

    buttons. The additional application buttons are:

    • Default Keys – Displays default Function

    • Dynaforms – Opens Dynaforms

    • Google – Opens Google

    • Google Maps – Opens Google Maps

    • Join.Me – Opens a Join.Me session

    • Map Agency – Maps units from your

    agency

    • Map All – Maps all units logged in

    • Notepad – Opens Notepad

    • Quick Start Guide – Displays the Quick

    Start Guide

    • Release Notes – Displays the Release

    Notes

    • RMS (F10) – Opens RMS

    • User Manual – Displays the User’s

    Manual

    • Cancel – Closes this screen

    Settings

    The Settings section is accessed by clicking on the Settings icon that is located in the upper right corner

    of the screen. Within the Settings section, you have the option of making numerous configuration

    changes with your Mobile program. If you make any changes in the Settings screen, you must click on

    the Save button. If you don’t like the changes, click on the Reload Defaults button to reload the default

    settings.
