The Path-breaking ‘Doing Engineering’

HITAM’s ‘Doing Engineering’ is distinct from the usual

‘studying engineering’ in that it’s entirely student-centric and

immersive, with an objective to make students competent

industry-ready and fit-for-future professionals ready to excel

in industry or as entrepreneurs Towards this end, HITAM has

evolved its pedagogy and forged several industry

partnerships to make ‘Doing Engineering’ real-time project-

based learning enhanced by Adjunct Faculty and active

collaboration students.

Innovative Pedagogy lies the Path

Adjunct faculty

The Pedagogic model at HITAM is the result of

two decades of in-house goal-setting,

experimentation, assessment and analysis of the

methodologies adopted, taking into account

teacher awareness, interest and accountability

about the teaching; classroom activities which

promote learning; experience-based evaluation

methods, need for effective interaction and

feedback to stimulate learning.
