6) Please provide sample rationale tables for each sampling event, with a corresponding sample location map.;

7) Reference 5 ?hows that sample SD-05 (tiaken in March, 1992) was broken when received by the lab. Discuss this in the report: will this sample be acceptable from a QA/QC standpoint, and is it necessary for an obseryed release to sw. ;

8) Several citations of g/kg appear in the report. This should be corrected to ug/kg in the repprt.

9) The samples collected by this SI did not establish an observed release to groundwater. The report said data was availaiblie frpm previous investigations to establish release; thia data wds not cited specifically.

it is doubtful that we can sample the site under the (JERCLA program, find clean samples, and then proceed with an observed release from an earlier time frame. In addition, quality, assurance/ control concerris will arise when using data outside

10) A topo map was,not provided with the SI report; the topo with the Phase I report indicated that the East and West Forks ; of Mineral Creek are intermiitent streams in the vicinity of the site. The probable point of entry (PPE) for the surface water pathway must be defined for purposes of scoring the sw pathway. 11) Some discussion of the dioxin data should be provided in the narrative, since dioxins are a special analysis Outside of the normal scope of this program, vdiat is pg/g, parts per quadrillion, or 10-12? Also, what is the relationship of the data to TEQ- see comment 3.
