The script demonstrates sound knowledge of the curriculum content. In Paper 1, the

candidate generally managed to answer questions at different levels of difficulty,

though performance was weak in some questions (such as with Q.2). In Paper 2, the

script displayed a general understanding of the questions. For example, the answer to

Q.4 was on the right track in weighing the problems created by the Paris Peace

Conference and those solved by it, though the answer focused disproportionately on

the latter; the answer to Q.6 was a direct response to the question, but contained

over-generalization and factual errors.
