Corporate Social Responsibility

THE RULE OF LAWIt is the foundation for the development ofpeaceful, equitable and prosperous societies. For rule of law to be effective, there must beequality under the law, transparency of law,an independent judiciary and access to legalremedy. Yet, about 57% of the world’spopulation lives outside the shelter of the law. That’s four billion people struggling for basic, human rights on a daily basis.

OUR MISSIONAt LexisNexis, we’re working to bring thepercentage of people living outside theumbrella protection of the rule of law down tozero through our day-to-day businessoperations, products and services, and actionsas a corporate citizen.

OUR PURPOSEOur purpose is to advance the Rule of Law around the world. Publishing laws and enabling access to justice is at our core. Each time we document a case, release a decision tool or support the development of a legal infrastructure, we’re working to expand the umbrella protection of the rule of law. We at LexisNexis do not seek to simply highlight the devastating effects of human trafficking; our goal is to be a part of the solution.
