The pursuiT of perfecTion.

simply put, it’s the desire to build the finest automobiles possible.

it’s the difference between a car that’s easy to park and one that virtually parks itself. Between being prepared for an accident and helping you react to one before it occurs.

it is a pursuit that drives every aspect of our efforts. from the generation of ideas to the creation of driving and ownership experiences that are second to none.

This is the story of the 2009 Lexus automobiles: A snapshot of our pursuit of perfection and where it has taken us so far.

THE ONLY WAY TO UNDERSTAND A CUSTOMER IS BY BECOMING ONE.

SIMON HUMPHRIES, THE HEAD Of GLOBAL DESIGN,

DIDN’T ACTUALLY BEGIN HIS DESIGN CAREER

fOCUSING ON CARS. On the contrary, he began on the

product design side of portable electronics, an industry where

understanding customer needs can be the difference between

creating a must-have item and an unsold paperweight. Obviously,

it’s not the conventional background for someone in his position

at an automotive company. But it couldn’t be a more natural fit

for Lexus. Where understanding our customers’ needs isn’t just

an aspect of our design. It’s the foundation.

That said, finding out what a customer needs isn’t nearly as simple

as it sounds. Phone surveys and focus groups won’t cut it.

Even the most well-intentioned and articulate driver would be

hard-pressed to come up with the answers we’re trying to find.

Exactly where do you place your hand when you enter the

vehicle? At what angle? Where would you instinctively reach

to adjust the climate settings? Does the shape and position of

this door handle match your active lifestyle? To questions like

these, answers aren’t given. They’re discovered.

And there’s only one way to discover the needs of a customer:

by becoming one. Learning their daily routines, their lifestyle,

seeing how they use things: knobs, handles, buttons. And, of

course, how they don’t. It’s not a new design approach for us.

from day one, more than one hundred of our designers have

spent three or more years immersed in the culture of our

customers. Only after such thorough research can a design

emerge that addresses a customer’s needs before they arise—an

aspect of Lexus design that we refer to as seamless anticipation.

Of course, the interior is only the

beginning. The exterior receives just

as much emphasis. And scrutiny. The

facility where concept vehicles are

studied and ultimately approved uses

virtual displays along with a specially

designed turntable so every exterior

angle can be analyzed by a team of

designers. A thorough practice, if not

for the fact that it’s all indoors—a place

where drivers rarely, well, drive. for

that purpose, the entire roof of the

facility was made to open and close,

enabling the vehicles to be examined

under natural sunlight. How the

customer would see them.

Which, by this point, you realize is all

that really matters in the end.

Consider the shape and pattern of

the wood and leather trim inside the

door of the LS. While striking

design elements, they were actually

based around the silhouette of the

driver—anticipating how one might

interact with the door while facing

forward as well as stopped, having

a conversation with the window

down and arm resting on the sill.

PROOf THAT EvEN THE MOST DISCIPLINED

ENGINEERS NEED TO LET LOOSE EvERY NOW AND

THEN. The first exotic sports car by Lexus, the Lf-A concept,

represents our vision of a high-performance supercar. Now

in phase two of development, the Lf-A is one step closer to

becoming the second Lexus to feature the f marque on its front

fenders, denoting its place in Lexus’ high-performance division.

With a sculpted aluminum-and-carbon fiber body, it’s remarkably

aerodynamic, sturdy and extremely lightweight. The 500+

horsepower v10 engine is mounted behind the front axle, and

large, functional intake ducts feed cool air to two radiators

mounted in the rear. The result of this arrangement: optimal

weight distribution and test-track speeds of over 200 mph.

Exhilarating for our engineers, yes. And, should it be made

available, promising to be even more so for our drivers.

RAPID DEPARTURE: THE 200-MPH LF-A CONCEPTBREAKS NEW GROUND

[A] The Lexus Lf-C concept offers a glimpse at the future design of the Lexus sport coupe. Mirrors have been replaced by exterior cameras that help display adjacent vehicles on a wraparound LCD dashboard. [B] The Lf-S concept represents the design direction of the Lexus luxury sedan of tomorrow. Among its many touches: sleek lines, a high-performance hybrid drivetrain and a completely transparent roof.

LEXUS. ESSENTIALLy, IT'S AN INNOVATION MACHINE. ITS HUNDREDS OF PATENTS, RENDERED IN LEADING EDGE

TECHNOLOGy, REPRESENT IDEAS THAT BENEFIT PEOPLE.

Headlamps that can see around curves.A particularly useful feature when driving at night or during inclement weather, the Dual-swivel Adaptive front Lighting System (AfS) on the LS and LX and available on the ES, is designed to illuminate more of the road in a curve. Taking into account such factors as vehicle speed and the degree of a turn, the system determines whether to rotate the headlamps individually or together at varying degrees depending on the model.

An airbag system that sizes you up. The advanced airbag system2 is just one part of a larger, more comprehensive Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) on most Lexus vehicles. The sophisticated dual-stage driver and front-passenger airbags (SRS)2 are designed to deploy at varying speeds, taking into account factors such as crash severity and driver’s seat-track position.

For comfort on-road or off, a suspension that reacts intuitively. The first of its kind on a production vehicle, the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) available on the GX automatically adjusts the front and rear stabilizer bars to current road conditions. On-road the stabilizer bars enhance handling and help minimize body sway, but off-road they can prevent tires from maintaining contact with the ground. So when the system detects an unequal wheel load—as you’d experience on rough terrain—fluid automatically flows between the front and rear cylinders and disengages the stabilizer bars. This allows for a greater range of wheel articulation—helpful when traveling on uneven ground. for a demonstration, please visit lexus.com/GX/KDSS.

A car that virtually parks itself.Available on the LS, the Advanced Parking Guidance System3 is designed to help the driver parallel park or back into a space. Once the LS is placed in reverse and the vehicle frame is aligned on the navigation screen, you simply press a button, remove your hands from the steering wheel and use the brake to ease into the parking space.

Two systems: three extra sets of eyes. The Wide-view front and Side Monitor1 available on the LX can help you see things you otherwise might miss. In blind corners at speeds below 7.5 mph, a split-screen image is provided by a camera in the front grille and, to help assist with parking and in narrow passes, a view to the right of the LX is provided by a camera positioned underneath the passenger side mirror. Whenever the LX is placed in reverse, a second system uses a camera above the license plate to help provide a view to the rear. for a demonstration, please visit lexus.com/LX/monitor.

Climate control that reacts to you.As part of the Executive-Class Seating Package,* a four-zone automatic climate-control system available on the LS uses infrared technology, a world’s first for a luxury sedan. Using an overhead sensor, it can measure the surface temperature of individual rear-seat passengers and adjust the temperature of the respective zones accordingly.

Brighter than your typical headlamp because it isn’t one. The LS 600h L features the world’s first LED headlamps for low-beam use. In addition to providing improved efficiency and an extended life, they illuminate faster, brighter and offer greater light distribution than headlamps equipped with conventional bulbs.

A safety system that knows when you’re distracted. The available Advanced Pre-Collision System (APCS)4 on the LS 600h L features the world’s first Driver Attention Monitor. Using an infrared camera that monitors the position and angle of the driver’s head while the vehicle is in motion, the system can sound a warning and, if necessary, briefly apply the brakes to alert the driver if an object is detected ahead while the driver is facing away from the road.

Eight speeds. One distinct feeling. The LS features the world’s first eight-speed automatic transmission. Now offered on the GS 460 and IS f as well, the narrow gear-ratio spread provides the driver with greater acceleration, improved fuel efficiency and shifting that’s virtually imperceptible. On the IS f, in particular, the Sport Direct-Shift transmission can surpass the performance of a manual, enabling 0.1-second paddle upshifts—among the fastest in the world.

The right height. Always.Active Height Control (X-AHC) on the LX automatically adjusts the ride height to help provide optimal performance, regardless of speed or terrain. On-road at highway speed, the vehicle lowers to help improve aerodynamics and to minimize sway. Off-road, when Low-Range 4WD is selected, the vehicle is raised for better ground clearance and increased suspension travel.

THE WORLD’S fIRST LUXURY HYBRIDS CHANGE. IT’S A POWERfUL WORD. It can also be an intimidating one when

you’re the first to take a step toward it. Especially in an industry as scrutinized as

ours. It would have been much easier to stay in an endless cycle of theory, research

and self-congratulatory speculation. But waiting won’t move you forward. Only

action will. Which is why you can see these three Lexus Hybrids on the road today.

And why we continue to improve upon their systems for tomorrow.

fIRST, TO CLEAR UP SOME MISCONCEPTIONS:

NOT EvERY HYBRID REqUIRES SACRIfICE OR

COMPROMISE. In fact, the opposite is true. Let’s start

with luxury. With a host of amenities and innovative

technology, our hybrids are among the finest automobiles

we’ve ever created. In fact, the world’s first v8 hybrid,

the LS 600h L, is arguably the finest in the world. Period.

Every Lexus Hybrid is available with features like hand-

selected wood and leather accents, a voice-activated

Navigation System7,8 with backup camera9 and an audio

system that rivals six-figure home-theater systems.

What about performance? Take an already-powerful

gasoline engine and combine it with a high-output electric

motor, and you’ll inevitably end up with a lot more power.

Enough to make the GS 450h’s 3.5-liter v6 perform like a

4.5-liter v8, and the LS 600h L’s 5.0-liter v8 perform like a

6.0-liter v12. Impressive performance made all the more so

by one of the most noticeable, yet least discussed, benefits of

hybrid technology: seamless and instantaneous acceleration.

Of course, even with their abundance of luxury and

performance features, the Lexus Hybrids still manage to

excel in the areas they’re supposed to: greater efficiency and

reduced emissions. Each has met the stringent requirements

necessary to be certified as a Super Ultra-Low Emission

vehicle. The RX 400h, in particular, offers 30 percent

greater fuel efficiency ratings10 and more than 70 percent

fewer smog-forming emissions11 than the average new car.

Generous with luxury and performance while reducing

its environmental impact. It may not be what you’ve come

to expect from hybrid vehicles. But, perhaps it should be.

Because of all the changes brought about by the Lexus

Hybrids, the most important just might be the way drivers

think about hybrids themselves.

THE LIfE Of A LEXUS ISN’T NEARLY AS LUXURIOUS AS YOU MIGHT IMAGINE. Prior to production, every

vehicle must endure a rigorous test of the elements. Leather gets scorched, stretched and frozen. And, for optimal

aerodynamics, vehicles are developed in finely tuned wind tunnels, one of which was used to design the bullet train.

Once production begins, the demands only increase. At every Lexus manufacturing plant, any worker can pull

a cord, instituting a code red where the entire production line stops. What type of crisis could possibly warrant

such a drastic measure? A single nut turned a fraction of a degree too far, for instance. Or a worker dropping

a screw (a clear indication of a flaw in how it was passed). Every time the cord is pulled, the problem—if you

can really call it that—is analyzed, corrected, and adjustments are made so it won’t happen again. It’s a practice

that’s encouraged. And there are thousands more just like it.

Engines get analyzed with stethoscopes. Painted vehicles get inspected under intense light and then by a merciless

computer that takes and analyzes thousands of images. And every four months, workers are retested to ensure they

fully understand how to execute their tasks correctly. Odds are that they do—workers are shown a 14-minute film on

how to spend the two seconds required to place a single grommet correctly—but it never hurts to check. After all,

it’s the only way we can be sure that every Lexus that leaves the factory is, in fact, what it claims to be.

NOT JUST ANY CAR CAN BE CALLED A LEXUS.

IN fACT, NOT EvERY LEXUS CAN BE CALLED A LEXUS.

CRAfTING SENSORY EXPERIENCES

To make sure every LS meets strict Lexus standards, quality-control technicians track-test every single LS before its release. While this is highly unusual for a production vehicle, it helps ensure the LS delivers a sublimely quiet, smooth and comfortable ride.

The available semi-aniline leather used by Lexus is among the finest in the automotive industry. Unlike most leathers, semi-aniline is minimally treated, allowing it to retain its naturally soft and supple feel.

THE LEXUS EXPERIENCE. Admittedly, it

sounds like marketing speak. But ask an

owner to describe their Lexus and you’ll find

it couldn’t be more real. It just feels different,

they’ll likely say. Just sit in one, and you’ll

understand. They’re right, of course. What

they may not know is that it’s by design.

Our craftsmen obsess over thousands of

nuances on every vehicle. Many of which

will never be distinctly obvious to a driver,

but all of which leave a marked impression:

how a cushion responds to your elbow,

the consistent rate that hinges open, the

placement and shape of buttons and knobs.

It’s not the stuff of lively party banter to

be sure. But it is every bit what makes the

Lexus experience exclusively Lexus.

28

The LS is wet sanded twice by hand during the painting process. first before the top coat of color, and then before the final clear coat. The result is a smooth, glass-like finish that most vehicles are unable to match.

The climate-control system found on most Lexus vehicles features sensors that can detect smog-forming compounds. If the pollutant levels reach a set point, the system automatically switches into recirculation mode.

for optimal consistency in color and grain throughout the cabin, every piece of wood trim found inside a Lexus vehicle is hand selected by craftsmen specially trained in the subtleties of wood shading.

To help ensure a quiet ride and smoother running engine, Lexus engineers use a stethoscope to identify and adjust any excess cam or direct-injection noises that may have been missed during the extensive diagnostic-testing process.

EVERyTHING WE’VE LEARNED COMES DOWN TO THIS

NOBODY EXPECTS TO BE IN AN ACCIDENT. Which is why your reaction—and the time in which you have

to make it—is so important. for this purpose, Lexus developed safety systems like the available Pre-Collision

System (PCS).12 To take full advantage of every millisecond before impact, PCS12 uses a radar sensor to monitor

the distance and closing speed of vehicles traveling ahead. If the system determines a frontal collision is inevitable,

the vehicle prepares in several ways. Brake Assist13 is primed, increasing the braking force the moment the driver

forcibly presses the pedal. And, to help prepare for impact, the system automatically retracts the front seatbelts.

In the case of the LX, should you get rear-ended, the active front headrests14 are designed to instantly raise and

move forward to help reduce whiplash. Obviously, this moment is the last thing you want to think about it.

Which should make it all the more reassuring to know it’s been on our mind for years.

A HOME’S MOST IMPRESSIVE SOUND SySTEM?

TRy THE GARAGE.fOR MORE THAN THREE DECADES, MARK

LEvINSON®15 HAS PLACED HIGH-END AUDIO

SYSTEMS IN HOMES of the most serious audiophiles—

systems worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, no less.

So when they agreed to develop systems for Lexus, we

knew the results would be unlike anything before.

The crowning achievement of this exclusive partnership:

the available 19-speaker Mark Levinson Reference

Surround Sound Audio System.15 Among its many

innovative technologies, Digital Imaging creates such

depth that the sound appears to originate from the

spaces between the speakers rather than the speakers

themselves. It also allows you to visualize the spatial

arrangement of each instrument at play—to “see” the

music as if it was a live concert. It’s an experience

that’s impressive for any surround sound system. And

unheard of for one that can be taken with you. for more

LEXUS IS NO STRANGER TO THE RACING WORLD. Not just

anyone wins three years in a row at the Rolex 24 At Daytona.® But,

still, an industry icon of civility build a throaty hot-rod and offer it as a

production model? It’s called the IS f—the first high-performance

f-marque Lexus. And, to fully appreciate it, you have to know how

it came to be. What began as one engineer’s obsession with

performance quickly grew into a “skunk works” team of engineers

working on their off-hours. Many were from the professional racing

circuit, itself. The result of this covert operation: 416 horsepower,5 0–60

in 4.6 seconds,5,6 and an eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission

that, in manual mode, changes gears in a tenth of a second—as fast as

ferrari’s 599 GTB fiorano. Clocked at 170 mph5,6 on a test track, it’s

the fastest and most track-tested production Lexus ever. Needless

to say, it’s everything you thought Lexus wasn’t.

THE ONLY THING MORE IMPORTANT THAN A SYSTEM THAT’S CONvENIENT IS ONE THAT’S REALISTIC. Take technology that responds

to other drivers on the road, for instance. Unlike most cruise-control systems that maintain a set speed regardless of surroundings, the available Dynamic

Radar Cruise Control16 uses sophisticated millimeter-wave radar to continuously measure the distance between you and the vehicle traveling in front of

you. If for any reason the space narrows more than the pre-set distance, the system calculates the closing rate and automatically lowers its own speed.

If the vehicle in front of you changes lanes or exits, the system resumes the initial speed. for a demonstration, please visit lexus.com/GS/radar.

SURE, IT’S PROBABLY NOT THE SORT Of ADvICE YOU’RE USED TO HEARING. Then again, the

Crawl Control17 technology on the Lexus LX isn’t the type of feature you’re used to having. Think of it as

cruise control for off-road situations. Only with even better throttle control. When in low range, a simple

touch of the button engages the system, helping you to maintain an even, low speed over rough terrain

without ever touching the pedals. Simultaneously, the system actuates a set of virtual locking differentials to

help minimize tire slippage and improve chassis control, reducing the likelihood of bottoming out. As you

crawl up, down and over obstacles, you can easily vary your speed by toggling a switch. Meaning the next

time you’re faced with the seemingly impassable, you won’t need to question if you’re up to the challenge.

You’ll only need to be ready to steer. for a demonstration, please visit lexus.com/LX/crawlcontrol.

PURSUIT OF INNOVATION

One of the many ways Lexus

continues to elevate the Lexus

customer experience bar is

through an internal promotion

called the Pursuit of Innovation.

Every dealership is recognized

and rewarded for creating new,

innovative ways to improve the

customer experience.

LEXUS MAGAzINE

Every three months, owners are

mailed a complimentary issue

of Lexus magazine. While some

stories are directly related to

Lexus vehicles and innovations,

the magazine primarily focuses

on unique luxury experiences

with a particular emphasis on

cuisine, culture and travel.

OWNER WEB SITE

Every Lexus owner is given

a personal Web site that can

be used to manage vehicle

maintenance schedules, access

service history, search an online

version of the owner’s Manual

and get all the latest updates on

Lexus owner benefits, including

luxury hotel partnerships and

other special promotions.

THE TYPICAL CAR DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE CAN BE,

WELL, LET’S JUST SAY, LESS THAN IDEAL. Which is why we’ve

designed the Lexus experience to be anything but typical. Even

before the first Lexus was available, we created a covenant that

every dealer must adhere to. An essential part of this covenant:

“Treat each customer as we would a guest in our own home.” In other

words, when we say make yourself at home, we mean it. Help

yourself to a beverage or some light fare. Need to check your stocks

or e-mail? Internet access is provided in most dealerships. Picking

up your new Lexus? Our associates will make the transition as

seamless as possible. from setting your favorite radio stations to

connecting and transferring your cell phone’s contacts to the

Bluetooth® system18 on your vehicle. We’ll even position and adjust

the driver’s seat to your exact specifications.

And, once you leave one dealership, rest assured our network of

others stands ready to assist you. A first of its kind in the automotive

industry, a National Service History database was created so any

dealer in the country can access your vehicle’s past and pending

Lexus service orders. And, should you need to leave your vehicle

with one of our specially trained Lexus technicians for warranty

repairs for more than eight hours, a complimentary loaner vehicle

will be provided. Not what you expected? That’s precisely the point.

AND THEN IT HITS YOU: YOU DIDN’T JUST BUY A CAR. YOU BOUGHT A LEXUS.

CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED

Only late-model, low-mileage

vehicles in excellent condition

can potentially be part of the

Certified Pre-Owned Lexus

program. Of these vehicles,

only the finest are selected by

our dealers, put through a

rigorous inspection process

and refurbished until they are

deemed worthy of sale.

RATINGS, RAvING REvIEWS IN THE PRESS.

We’ve earned more than our share of them and

have appreciated every single one. But, the truth is,

if you’re considering your next vehicle, nothing can

tell you as much as this simple fact: Among all luxury

automobile owners, Lexus owners are the most

likely to return for another vehicle. Year after year,

in fact. It might be because of our vehicles’ designs,

their innovative technology or the way they perform.

Or it could be the exceptional service our owners

receive—according to Businessweek, 91% have

said they would “probably” or “definitely” return

even after their warranty expired. But, more than

likely, it’s a combination of all of the above. The only

way to know for certain is to ask a Lexus owner. If

you aren’t sure where to find one, just stop by one

of our dealerships. Odds are they’re on their way.

THERE’S A REASON LEXUS CUSTOMER LOyALTy IS HIGHER THAN ANy OTHER LUXURy AUTOMAKER.

THE MOST IMPORTANT COST TO

CONSIDER? ALL OF THEM. While fuel

and maintenance are probably the first areas

that come to mind when considering the

costs of owning a vehicle, the fact is that the

other five—depreciation, repairs, insurance,

financing and fees—are just as important. To

assist you in choosing your next vehicle wisely,

IntelliChoice gathered and analyzed all seven

costs for over 2,000 models and created

the Best Overall value of the Year award for

each class. And, while it was certainly no small

feat to do so, we’re thankful it did. In 2008,

four of the eight Lexus models were honored

with the award: the ES, GS, GX and RX.

GS Evidently, Lexus engineers have a soft spot for lead-footed hedonists. How else can you explain the

exhilarating high-performance GS Line? The most recent addition, the GS 460, comes packed with a 4.6-liter v8,

LS Widely considered the benchmark of the industry, the LS offers unsurpassed craftsmanship and unparalleled

innovation. The level of care given to each vehicle, from hand sanding the paint finish to tuning the engine with a

IS Engineered for the true driving enthusiast, nearly every aspect of the IS Line has roots in the racing world. Take

the six-speed sequential-paddle-shift transmission. With a mere flick of your fingers, you can change gears on the fly.

And, like a true race car, the IS 350 features a shift light in the tachometer that can illuminate at a pre-set RPM, so

you’ll know when to shift without ever taking your eyes off the road. for enhanced traction, the IS 250 is available in

all-wheel drive, and every IS features a system that continually monitors and adjusts the braking, throttle and steering

systems for optimal balance and control.

ES There’s luxury for the sake of luxury. And then there’s luxury for the sake of the driver. Thoughtfully designed

from the inside out, the ES offers uncompromising comfort down to the finest detail. Literally. More than 120 measures

were taken to dampen sound and vibration alone. Every piece of wood side paneling inside the cabin comes from the

same tree. And every piece is hand selected for consistency. Among its many other courteous amenities: a keyless

entry/ignition system, an available power rear sunshade and available heated and ventilated front seats.

features plenty of innovations. Like a power rear door, dual-zone climate control and an available Rear-Seat

Entertainment System. It also offers 14 Actively Safe features like headlamps that rotate into curves and a system that

continually monitors tire pressure.32

SC You don’t send automotive designers to the Côte d’Azur for weeks of research and end up with just any car.

The most eye-catching of the Lexus line, the SC is the quintessential convertible. A 4.3-liter v8 offers a rush of power

while a six-speed transmission delivers smooth acceleration. Aerodynamically engineered so the ride is quiet whether

the top is up or down, the SC also features thoughtful touches like a wood-paneled console that retracts to reveal

controls for the audio and navigation systems.

RX 400h The RX 400h** has the distinguished honor of being the world’s first luxury hybrid.

A distinction made all the more impressive by the fact that it’s also a utility vehicle. And, with features like available

all-wheel drive and a 0-to-60 time of as quick as 7.3 seconds,5,6 a capable one at that. Though, you’d never know it

from its environmental impact: 30 percent better fuel ratings,10 more than 70 percent fewer smog-forming emissions

than the average new car11 and, like every Lexus Hybrid, it’s certified as a Super Ultra-Low Emission vehicle.

GS 450h The GS 450h is the world’s first high-performance hybrid sedan. Sound like an oxymoron?

Consider its numbers: 340 combined horsepower5 and a 0-to-60 time of 5.2 seconds.5,6 That’s not only faster than

every Lexus without an f marque, it’s faster than many conventionally powered v8 sedans in its class. As you’d expect

from a hybrid, it’s remarkably efficient. And as you’d expect from Lexus, incredibly indulgent. What you may not expect,

however, is perhaps its hybrid system’s greatest performance attribute: instantaneous torque and seamless acceleration.

IS F The most track-tested Lexus ever, the IS f is not for the faint of heart. A by-product of a covert team of

engineers, it features systems and materials more commonly found on raceways than city streets. Like lightweight

titanium intake valves, oil and transmission-fluid cooling systems and 14.2-inch Brembo® front brakes43 with six-piston

calipers. Under the hood, it produces 416 horsepower5 and clocks a 0-to-60 time of 4.6 seconds.5,6 In fewer words:

It’s everything you thought we weren’t.

LS 600h L The fact that it is the world’s first v8 hybrid is just one of the many ways the LS 600h L

sets the bar for the luxury category. It features an available right-rear power-reclining seat with massager and leg

rest,24,25 an available four-zone climate-control system with a rear-seat infrared sensor that can react to body

temperature, and an available parking system that enables the vehicle to virtually parallel park itself.4 Outfitted with

all-wheel drive, it’s as exhilarating as it is luxurious: 438 total system horsepower5 and a 0-to-60 time of 5.5 seconds.5,6 Put

succinctly, it’s as close to perfection as we’ve ever come.

The Wide-view Front and Side Monitor does not provide a comprehensive view of the front and side areas of the vehicle. you should also look around outside your vehicle, and use your mirrors to confirm clearance. Cold weather will limit effectiveness and view may become cloudy. 2. All the airbag (“AB”) systems are Supplemental Restraint Systems. All ABs (if installed) are designed to inflate only under certain conditions and in certain types of severe collisions: frontal and knee ABs typically inflate in frontal collisions; side and side curtain ABs in side collisions; Roll-Sensing Curtain ABs at a severe tilt degree, roll or lateral G-force. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further information/warnings. 3. The Advanced Parking Guidance System requires driver brake control. Always look around outside the vehicle and use mirrors to confirm clearance. 4. The Advanced Pre-Collision System is designed to help reduce the crash speed and damage in certain frontal collisions only. The included Driver Attention Monitor is designed to alert the driver if a potential hazard is detected ahead and the driver’s face appears to be turned away. They are not collision-avoidance systems and are not substitutes for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness depends on many factors. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further information. 5. Ratings achieved using the required premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. If premium fuel is not used, performance will decrease. 6. Performance figures are for comparison only and were obtained with prototype vehicles by professional drivers using special safety equipment and procedures. Do not attempt. 7. The Navigation System is designed to assist in locating an address or point of interest.
