• Hate crime support- close working with LAGLO officers to highlight cases or issues with cases as well as joint working
• Building community confidence in Police and LAGLO response.
Training
• Range of training packages offered
• Looks at diversity in sexual and gender identity at a depth
• Considers how such diversities may impact a client's experience of life and what they might need from you in order to be open with you about their difference & engage.
• Aims to increase practitioner confidence and LGBT+ cultural knowledge.
LGBT+ Social & drop ins
• Drop in sessions allow for new people to engage
• Some specific events & themes-World Aids Day, World Mental Health Day, Elder Abuse, Sexual Health, hate crime
• Brings external agencies together under one roof for LGBT+ to know they are included
• Online chat sessions also available
• Links with Mermaids & Breakout Youth support

Helps build relationships, confidence, pride in self identity, community connections, health, happiness and stress relief. Increased self worth = more likely to report
LGBT+ Conference
• First ever LGBT+ Conference on the Island
• Supported by LSCB, LSAB, Hampshire Constabulary & Breakout Youth
• Sessions on hate crime, youth matters, adult matters, sexual health
• Speakers from University of Portsmouth, Educate & Celebrate, NPAS (Police Helicopter service)
• Hoping to have a second one in early 2019
Prison work• Work within HMP Isle of Wight
around hate crime with residents & staff
• Attended Inside Pride- Albany & Parkhurst
• First external agencies to attend Pride event
• Engaging with Equality reps groups to improve situation with hate crime within the prisons

Vigil for Orlando Massacre-300+ attendees
