•apply different search strategies in using Datastream in order to extract relevant information efficiently and effectively.

•use Excel to extract information from Datastream in order to make better use of the data for further analysis and build complex models and reports.

2) Search for and select series using the Datastream Navigator

3) Select the type of request

4) Set the time period and/or frequencies
