Licensed Electrical Inspectors Practical (LEIP)This component of the Licensed Electrical Inspectors course prepares the student for the LEIP component of the licensing assessment. Topics covered include:

• Electrical & Personal Safety

• Testing requirements in accordance with AS/NZS3000 Wiring Rules

• Visual defects

• Testing of Low Voltage Single-phase Installations

• Testing of Low Voltage, Three-phase Installations

• Testing of single & multiple occupancy installations

• COES and ESV defect list.

Licensed Electrical Inspectors Safe Approach (LEISA)This component of the Licensed Electrical Inspectors course prepares the student for the LEISA component of the licensing assessment. Topics covered include:

• Electrical & Personal Safety

• Safe to approach

• Inspection & testing of a green field site

• Inspection & testing of the consumer mains

• Inspection of the electrical installation including main switchboard and associate electrical equipment

• Certificates of Electrical Safety (COES) & ESV Defect List.

Licensing ExamLicensing Exam bookings for Practical and Safe Approach are through ESV on 1800 815 721. Theory exam bookings are through Future Energy Skills on 9654 1299. Please do not book your assessment until you have completed your tutorial, as course commencement is subject to numbers.
