How it came to be…

LIFE AFTER 6 BAND started in September 2003. Rico Barreda, theoriginator, came up with its name of how life really starts with most ofthe musicians, from gearing-up themselves for the night performance.It goes with the folks who love to find temporary relief, comfort andrelaxation after a hassle and bustle in a day’s life. Numeric 6 issignificant in the sense that nighttime considerably starts at six and it’sthe time everyone prepare themselves for the night out . This is howLIFE AFTER 6 got its name.

The band played locally in small bars and hotels until it venturedinternational and played in bigger venues like Hilton, MovenpickHotels, Crowne Plaza Hotels and Sheraton Hotel. Because of itsenergetic live performances, the band has several contracts andcomebacks at some of these hotels. Eventually, the band earnedcommendations and respect from their audience and hotelmanagements as well. Their livewire performances has captured thehearts of Hip-Hop, Rock, Retro, Popular and classic song lovers. Untilthis days, they continue their music as the main band of these hotels.Their clients await them on their venues…

International Venues of Performances1. Hilton Al Ain (5 star hotel), Al Ain, United Arab Emirates from June of2005 to October 2005.

2. Movenpick Hotel Bahrain (5 star hotel), Kingdom of Bahrain fromDecember 2005 to May 2006.

3. Movenpick Dead sea (5 star resort and spa), Jordan from May 2006 toSeptember 2006 upon recommendation by the General Manager ofMovenpick Bahrain (Mr. Jan Kaizer).

4. Crowne Plaza Hotel-Amman (5 star Hotel), Jordan from October 2006 toMarch 2007.

5.Sheraton Hotel and Resort-Doha(5 star Hotel), They made theircomebacks in this hotel since 2007 until 2011.

6.Crowne Plaza Hotel-Sharme El Sheikh, Egypt(5 Star Resort), From

January 2008 to February 2009.

These hotels issued certifications to the band due to quality performancesand attendance.

She was seenwith her incredible singing talentsince childhood and has wonsinging contests during her youngeryears, A voice that can give you thestyles such as Rihanna, Beyonceand other R & B artists. She singswell also in some classic genre withwitty looks. Joined Life After 6 Bandin 2009.

Jing Duro

Was able to pursue her academicsthrough Bicol Heritage Foundation(alocally funded institution under theProvincial Government to supportlocal talented individuals). Hasshared her talents in Japan for 8years in separate contracts. Hasperformed in some hotels in Omanand Dubai... An experiencedpeformer. Her combined talent andsinging plus her looks has given herrespect as a roll in one talent..

• Cy was born in September 29, 1986. An

Electronic Technology student, whose first love

is singing, has ventured herself in joining live

bands after her 17th birthday. After a year of

attending school, she got more involved in music

and performed in some local venues. October of

2004, she auditioned to LIFE AFTER 6 and

became a regular member. Her innocent looking

charm has added more appeal to her alto voice.

She has proven herself to be effective with

pop/rock music and R & B’s.

Singing is his primary talent, keyboard playingcame next to supplement his singing expression.He self-studied musical arrangements to givemore way in making his music. His earlyperformances with bands brought him to AwalHotel in Bahrain in 1993 with the LE' PROJECTBand and was contracted for six consecutivemonths. He moved to SAFARI PALACE HOTEL inDubai the following year with his group still underhis leadership and got a whole year roundcontracts. After a two-in-a-row contracts, hestayed in the Philippines and worked in thegovernment for 6 years under the BICOLHERITAGE FOUNDATION as a talent coordinator.He co-created the LRV ORCHESTRA, which catersballroom music and some popular dance tune.

In some instances, he is an arranger forcomposers to fit their creativity. Jingle-songwriting is one of his delights. He has performed intoo many outlets. He's a vocal coach and trainerand makes the vocal arrangements to make sureeverything is in the right harmony. He is a stageperformer with an extraordinary taste. He servesas the balance of the group and a quality maker.He's even acquired a talent in audio-mixing tomake the sound in perfect blend. An experiencedband specialist. The creator and originator of theLIFE AFTER 6.
