“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel….”-Mark 16:15
Overview The objective of this study is to present in a clear
and concise manner, solid biblical truth that will
uncover strongholds and godless patterns in our lives
that prevents us from walking in the freedom that Christ died to give to each person.
Our prayer is that each person would be set free in a new way during this journey to freedom.

Inner Healing 2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a
new creation; old things have passed
away; behold, all things have become new.”
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
Inner Healing This teaching is about taking back
possession of the “land” of the soul
It is a process of renewal. Also known as SANCTIFICATION.
Soul (Gk: psyche): Consists of three (3) primary areas:• Mind• Will• Emotions
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
Inner Healing Sanctification, hagiasmos:• Separation unto God•The separation of the believer from evil things and ways.
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
Sanctification is a process that is God’s will for every believer. It is the separation of the believer from evil practices, habits and ways and a continual clinging unto Christ. Sanctification is that relationship with God into which men enter by faith in Christ.
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
SANCTIFICATION
Sanctification is a three-stage process that involves one’s past, present and future.
• Stage One: Our Past (Were Saved)• Stage Two: Our Present (Being Saved)• Stage Three: Our Future (Eternally
Safe)

Inner Healing MAN’S MAKE UP
1 Thessalonians 5:23
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
After a person is born again, their spirit is new but they have the same mind which is a product of past experiences and is typically
controlled and dominated by old
thoughts/thought patterns, etc. (strongholds). These must be broken!!
(i.e.-Fears, rejection, addictions, etc.)
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
SANCTIFICATION
Setting The Captives Free
The Carnal Mind: God’s Enemy
“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God,
nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”
-Romans 8:7-8
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
SANCTIFICATION
What is the solution? • The Truth of God’s Word Implanted
In Their Souls
• Written (Logos)
• Spoken (Rhema)
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12

meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.”
-James 1:21

Metaphorically speaks of a seed rooting itself in the heart
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
SANCTIFICATION
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a
living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good & acceptable &
perfect will of God.”-Romans 12:1-2

SINS & WOUNDSSin and woundedness are different things and
have very different sources and remedies.

SINS & WOUNDSWe did not choose to be hurt, rejected or violated,
nevertheless the wound is present. Sinful acts of others against and upon us result in a state of emotional woundedness due to the misinterpretation made about the act.
Woundedness must be healed by an experiential reality
of the presence of the Lord Jesus in the historical moment.
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
SINS & WOUNDSAddressing The “Wound”
1.Invite Jesus into your initial memories & emotions2.Release your pain to Jesus & stop living from the center of your woundedness3.Make a conscious choice to forgive your offender4.Strengthen your sense of identity & knowledge of your true self in Christ
“Equipping the Saints to do the work of ministry…”-Eph 4:12
SINS & WOUNDSWhen seeking to find healing for a
person’s wounded memory,
we look first for the original memory
that contains the lie/stronghold.
