Scenario 2 Ming has just promoted to S.6 and is

facing a lot of pressure in exams. Carl finds his studies in S.4 get harder too. Because of her dad’s health, mom’s work has been affected and her boss complained about it.

This year their grandfather has died and the family has fallen into a more difficult situation. Ming is absent from school often and his results get a lot poorer …

Scenario 3 Sue’s parents divorced when she was

in S.1. They had been quarrelling all the time and thus Sue didn’t feel upset. Instead she thought she could live a quieter life with her mom. Now her mom has a boyfriend and is planning to get married some time later. Sue accepts these changes readily and is looking forward to having a happy family again.
