(refer to the photo.)•Measure ½” in from the border on the Roc Lon for the checked border and base with Snow White and every other check with Lamp Black. •The Roclon surface comes ready to paint but the wood banner holder will need to be sealed with DecoArt MultiPurpose Sealer and sanded to a smooth fi nish.

Banner Background: •The background areas are completed in a very non-traditional manner by squirting your paint directly onto the area to be painted and then blending the paint using your foam roller and reapplying paint as needed. The back-ground might look slightly mottled, you will stencil over this background conse-quently it is unnecessary to blend your paint perfectly. Mask off the border area with painters tape to aid in painting. Sky: •Place a long “string” of Snow White directly into the middle of the sky area, this can be a liberal amount of paint, squirt three quarter sized puddles of Indian Turquoise onto the sky area randomly around your white “string” and three dime sized puddles of Desert Turquoise in a similar manner. •Randomly roll your foam roller through your paint and continue to roll mix-blending the three paint colors on the piece. Do not worry if you do not have a smooth blend as you will add stenciling over this layer. •Randomly place your Curly Words Stencil onto the sky area and stencil over the words using Snow White. Con-tinue the stenciling process by moving the stencil to position the words as you prefer. Continue stenciling using a dirty brush alternating with Indian Turquoise and Desert Turquoise and depending on your preference layering over the white stenciled words. There is no right or wrong way to accomplish this but should be completed based on your per-sonal preference. There is also no need to clean your stencil brush in between paint colors as this will help your words to “blend” into the background area. •Wash Glamour Dust Aqua, Glamour Dust Ice Crystal, and Glamour Dust Sap-phire Blue randomly onto the stenciled area. •Float shade next to the black and white border with Sapphire. Art and in Pattern Photos)•Dry brush Tangerine using a circular motion onto the background area of each fi rework. This is the fi rst layer that you will add to the fi rework and is de-signed to give you a base color as well as form the shape of the fi rework. •The Fireworks are formed using a very loose lining stroke with the Round #6 and a Round #4 brush using the length of the brush handle and your arm to do the bulk of the work. Load your brush with paint which has been thinned down to inky consistency so that it fl ows out of your brush easily. •Thin Indian Turquoise down to a very thin transparent consistency and us-ing a very fl uid movement and a round brush form the fi rework by working out from the center to form the arms of the fi rework. Continue forming the fi rework by layering Sapphire, Jack-O’-Lantern Orange, and Snow White layering your paint colors until the fi rework begins to take shape. •Thin Sapphire, Jack-O’-Lantern Orange, Snow White, and Napa Red down to a very thin consistency and splatter each paint color randomly onto the fi reworks. •Transfer the child and roller coaster for the design. Float shade Sapphire around the roller coaster, tracks, and the child. Child: •Base the face, arms, and hands with Hi-Lite Flesh, shade with Shading Flesh and using a glaze fl oat deepen the shaded areas with Burnt Sienna. Highlight the face, arms and hands with Light Buttermilk and dry brush the cheeks, chin, and the forehead with Peony Pink. Base the eyes with Lamp Black. Dip dot the highlight in the eye with Snow White. •Wash Shading Flesh on the lips and the tongue, highlight with Snow White. Base the inside of the mouth with Lamp Black. •Base the hair with Burnt Sienna, line highlight with Honey Brown and line shade with Milk Choco-late. •Base the shirt with Moon Yellow, shade with Antique Gold and deepen with Honey Brown, and highlight with Light Buttermilk. •Using the Identi Pen – Black, line the facial features and glasses. Using a Script Liner line high-light lines with Snow White into the center of the lenses to mimic the refl ection in the child’s glass-es. Roller Coaster Car: •Base the car with Peony Pink, fl oat shade with Napa Red, and fl oat highlight with Electric Pink.•Base the grill, windshield frame, and radiator cap with Light French Blue * discontinued by De-
