• How do we learn?• How do we know when God is at

The Bible Bit

• After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come”, he said. “The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!” (Mark 1:14, 15)

• Jesus said, “Learn from me!” (Mat 11:28-30)

The Clever Bit

• Time=Chronos and Kairos (Greek)

• Chronos=wristwatch time• Kairos = an event, an opportunity

Kairos moments/events

• Positive or negative• Recognized by their impact• Signal opportunities to grow

• What Kairos moments have you had in the your lives? (table talk)

• My son told me the other day I never spend time with him.• I got a speeding ticket the other day• I stepped on the scales today and realised I am 2 stones

‘kingdom’, ‘repent’ and believe’.• What Kairos moments have you had in the

last week/month/season?• Put them through the circle in pairs• Pray together about the issues that arise• How can we become more accountable in

our cell? Do we have accountability groups?
