Cannot: -Save - it can’t save the honest sinner, or the pretending law keeper -Bring about holiness

Can: -Show us what sin is -Convict us - It makes ME aware that I am a sinner -Shows us that we are unable to please God by our own works and that we need a Savior

What Does This All Mean To Me?1. Because we died with Christ, the law no longer condemns us2. Since we are united with Christ, THE SPIRIT enables us to produce good deeds for God - with our renewed hearts and minds3. We still uphold the law, but now with a different motivation
