This flyer provides information relating to local and international regulations as provided by LEEA and in accordance with Lifting operation and Lifting Equipment Regulation 1998 (LOLER). How often must lifting equipment and accessories be thoroughly examined and certification? Lifting Appliances mean work equipment for lifting and lowering loads.

The definition includes attachments used to anchor, fix or support the equipment.

Lifting Accessories mean lifting tools for attaching loads to machinery for lifting.
