"One Shop – One Look" - a motto aptly describing the Lunis® SL-T as a new and flexible lighting solution for sales worlds. The single luminaire has a diversity of options: two lighting technologies, two performance packages, two mounting methods, three housing colours and a wide selection of filters and reflectors. Lunis® SL-T enables the simple configuration of ideal lighting. The luminaire is also perfect for individual zones and areas in retail outlets according to specific application, ranging from meat and cheese counters to large car showrooms and museums, and the overall, uniform appearance is always maintained.

One Shop – One Look

— Available in two technologies: LED (gross: ~3,000/5,000 lm) and HIT (35/70 W)

— Very good (CRI > 90) and good (CRI > 80) colour rendering for optimum display of goods

— Optimum colour constancy due to intelligent binning — Filters and reflectors for special applications (food and non-food)

Flexibility is the maxim with the new Lunis® SL-T

spotlight family. The luminaires can be installed as

solitary solutions in 3-phase tracks.

The luminaire as a Modario® IP20 spotlight can

also be integrated into the Modario® trunking

system from Siteco, enabling targeted accents in

addition to room lighting.

Lunis® SL-T | Colour Rendering

Goods bathed in the very best lightGood light improves well-being, entices customers, attracts the eye and aids orientation. In short: good light simply sells better. Presenting goods in the best light at all times is one of the primary tasks of retail lighting, whether illumination should be radiant, stylish and appealing or healthy and tasty. Decisive for achieving this is the colour rendering index (CRI), a measure of how far colours with artificial lighting approximate their appearances in natural light. The LED version of the Lunis® SL-T has a colour rendering index of 93 and is thus qualified for all applications where very high colour rendition is indispensable.Consistent quality management, very careful logistics processes and intelligent chip control also ensure maximum levels of colour constancy across the complete Lunis® SL-T LED range and over their complete service life.

Lunis® SL-T | Quality of Light

High quality light from start to fi nishVery high colour constancy and uniform brightness for all luminaires used are two criteria for qualitative retail lighting, but intelligent binning is needed because natural deviations occur during the manufacturing of LEDs. During the binning process, LEDs are sorted into various bins according to their electronic, photometric and colour properties. The level of fi ne colour deviations is measured with the help of McAdams ellipses, and the lower the deviations the better the LEDs of a bin match each other.

Binning with low quality standards can lead to signifi cantly visible variations within a lighting system. Lunis® SL-T spotlights on the other hand are highly homogeneous in terms of light colour and brightness due to consistent and stringent sorting methods.

Binning with low quality standard

With only three McAdams ellipses they are also better than the current standard of fi ve McAdams ellipses. That means certainty: matching LEDs are supplied for replacements, after-sales and system expansions as well.

In addition, with Lunis® SL-T luminaires the natural, age-related colour drift over the complete operational life is compensated for. The quantity of red colour tone is automatically added via intelligent chip technology to prevent a drift towards the blue spectrum.

Lunis® SL-T | Individuality

Light for worlds of experienceShowrooms, flagship stores, boutiques and museums are more than just exhibition spaces and locations for sales. They have fundamental concepts that unite the shop and light to create an overall work of art - it's the place where brands, brand messages and customers come together, and lighting is an essential component of modern retail architecture. Thanks to three housing colours of matt black, matt white or silver aluminium, Lunis® SL-T integrates harmoniously into a wide diversity of aesthetically sophisticated interiors. Architecture and lighting come together as a single unit. Uniform optics still enable the convincing presentation of various zones with differing functions, whether for exhibition surfaces, shop windows, aisles or accent highlights.

Spot on for trends and must-have goods! The targeted use of light in fashion stores and boutiques aids sales promotion, and the purposeful play with strong contrasts determines the attention of customers and guides their glance to products or areas intended to be focused on by retail store operators. It is vital that colours and materials are rendered according to reality and that an impression of quality is communicated.

9

Lunis® SL-T | Individuality

Showrooms are symbolic for brands. Everything has to be matched down to the last detail, and lighting is primarily for the presentation of such worlds of experience. If cars are exhibited for example, lighting must be especially carefully planned because individual light points are reflected on car bodies and may cause glare. The Lunis® SL-T spot has clip-on glare protection in the form of a protective glass that prevents a direct view of the light source.

The art of illumination and protectionMuseums and galleries are special cases. Light must be prohibited from damaging exhibited works of art, as UV radiation over longer periods of time can damage paint, colours and surfaces. The same applies to the excessive development of heat at the work of art. The LED versions of the Lunis® SL-T are highly practical in this sense, providing almost completely UV-free light. Any heat generated cannot be conducted onto the object via light rays as with conventional lighting. The HIT variant of the spotlight has a suitable UV and IR filter that protects art works from luminaire caused hazardous UV and heat/IR radiation.

Light for worlds of freshnessAppetizing, tasty, fresh and healthy - food has to be shown with special care to excite the interest of customers. Lunis® SL-T with its specific colour filters and reflectors bathes goods in the best light in food areas. To successfully gain the loyalty of customers, even daily shopping has to now become an experience, which is why lighting accents are important in markets to specifically attract attention. Various zonal lighting solutions can be implemented with a uniform design, for example higher illuminance at gondola heads, where special offers are presented. The right light says to customers: grab it!

Colour effects according to the food-stuff sector can be highlighted by using special colour filters.

— red for meat and cold meat counters

— yellow for bread and baked goods

A champagne-coloured reflector is also available as an accessory,

suitable for the illumination of cheese counters.

Trunking installed parallel to shelving is an extremely efficient lighting solution for the retail sector. Modario, the trunking system from Siteco, has already been installed in a great many outlets. The Lunis® SL spotlight is designed for simple integration into the rail system, and as a spot between general lighting it specifically illuminates individual zones.

Lunis® SL-T | Overview

Light for diverse applicationsA shop is not just a shop. Sales spaces all have different concepts, which is why the Lunis® SL-T has a modular design. This means it is future-safe and can be configured according to customer needs: another application demands another configuration. With HIT variants, the reflectors and filters can even be modified and retrofitted without tools.

Lunis® SL-T | Modario® Spotlight

Modario® IP20 SpotlightLunis® SL-T is not only available as a solitary solution for 3-phase tracks, but also as a spot unit for the Modario® trunking system from Siteco under the name of Modario® IP20 spotlight. This means Modario® offers flexible solutions in the shop sector for combining homogeneous general lighting with accenting for goods presentation within a single system.

The Modario® trunking system with fully compatible modular construction adapts individually to complex lighting tasks. The basis is the 5 or 10-core wired trunking rail and an open distribution insert. Various reflectors, socket outlet modules, tracks and spots such as the Modario® IP20 spotlight module are available.
