A concise design, precise light distribution and diverse applications – the Compact Downlight range is predestined for efficient and flexible lighting solutions in standard office and public building applications.

Good light made easyWith a wide type selection, the Compact Downlight rangeis ideal for diverse general lighting applications in corridors and traffic zones as well as office landscapes, receptionareas and foyers.

The darklight reflector with symmetric wide light charac-teristic guides light with very low light spill, providing highly precise and glare-reduced light distribution.With various luminous flux levels, the downlights are a flexible and efficient alternative to conventional downlights with compact fluorescent lamps. In the 1100 lumen version or equipped with an anti-glare louvre as an accessory, the Compact Downlight also complies with requirements for UGR 19 and suitability for DSE workstations, making it ideal for many standard office applications. All DALI ver-sions also feature emergency light functionality in accordance with DIN EN 60598-2-22.

In terms of design, the Compact Downlight features a concise apparance as well as options for customisingusing optical and decorative accessories.

Simple upgrading to LEDBoth versions, the Compact Downlight midi with 212 mm ceiling cutout and the Compact Downlight mini with 162 mm cutout are ideal LED replacements for Lunis®, Lunis® E and conventional compact downlights. With identical mounting ring and ceiling cut-out, obsolete systems can be simply and quickly upgraded to LED without tools, and accessories can continue to be used. Such upgrades achieve energy savings of up to 53% due to approximately 90% higher luminous efficacy. Thanks to DALI, operation can be further optimised when combined with light management systems and sensor-based control.
