Gwinnett County continues to add Hackney’s to their fleet of special service vehicles. The latest addition is a Diver Rescue Unit designed to transport dive team equipment and provide a warm or cool environment for changing into and out of wet suits. Features:

LIGHT RESCUE

A drop-down desk is located in the curbside compartment over the rear wheels with a whiteboard on the rear wall.

Body interior height permits personnel to stand while dressing into dive suits. Hinged exterior compartment door over rear wheels provides interior and exterior access to SCUBA tanks. Awnings are provided on the left and right sides. A 15,000# winch is installed in the front bumper.

The rear entrance has a secondary step inside the door permitting a safer exit when suited up. Note the wet suit compartment on the left. It is equipped with a roll-up door and floor drains.
