INNOVATIVE LED LOW BAYS Smart [4] - LB is a new LED device concept used to create linear and modular lighting systems
based on the customer's needs, replacing traditional watertight low bays in contexts such as
warehouses, industry, workshops and underground car parks, with relatively low installation
heights. Available in versions with 2 LED, 2+2 LED, 4 LED and 5 LED and with four types of
optics: diffused 100°, medium 60° restricted 30° and elliptical.

Smart [4] - LB
The Smart [4] range is able to guarantee energy savings of up to 50%
in comparison to traditional watertight low bays with fluorescent
sources.
Gewiss has designed and implemented every component of the LED
motor that consists the heart of the Smart [4] products in order to
guarantee maximum reliability over time in terms of both performance
and safety.
Efficiency and maintenance of performance
The entire range of Smart [4] products was designed and developed to
make it very easy to install and retrofit on existing devices in obsolete
systems.

The point-point replacement is the easiest, most economic and reliable solution that makes it possible to minimise the cost of the
first installation, making it comparable with a simple relamping

The Smart [4] devices are equipped with Power LED. The types selected,
which are available with colour temperature 4000K, provide high levels
of light efficiency, low flow decay, long duration and excellent colour
performance.
A complete range of photometric distributions with particular
reference to narrow beam optics, which make it possible to have
an efficient and rational system. It is possible, in fact, to avoid the
dispersion of the light flux by directing it entirely on the surface to
be illuminated.
Range completeness
Gewiss has decided to use a secondary optic composed of a high bay
and lens to obtain the best performance and optimal distribution of
the light flux. The GEWISS optical system was designed using 3D
modelling in order to define the geometries with utmost precision.

makes it possible to obtain maximum energy savings for the best

The optics of the Street [O3] lighting are designed to house both high
performance LED and Cosmopolis discharge lamps in one single body.
Thanks to this interchangeability, they are the innovative choice for
energy savings.
Interchangeability and innovation
All the LED optics consist of multiple modules, each with 16
LED, for a configuration from 1 to 5 motors. This satisfies different
road lighting needs, keeping the same body and just increasing the
modules.
Thanks to the complete separation of electric / electronic parts from
the device body, the Street [O3] device is protected against induced
overvoltages greater than 6KV in common mode, in accordance with
Standard EN 61000-4-5 and IEC 61000-4-5. (Certified by a third party
authority).
Overvoltage protection
All the LED lighting products of the Gewiss range offer the possibility
of an additional warranty for a further 3 years after the standard 2-year

With a view to maximising energy savings, GEWISS has designed the
products of the Street [O3] and Urban [O3] families to be supplied with
systems to reduce the luminous flux (-40% of power at 50% of the
flux), for the versions with Cosmopolis technologies as well as LED.
Where the application requirements make it possible, this innovation
brings an additional reduction of consumption and a resulting decrease
in operating costs.
Reduced consumption takes place through the process "learning" as
it operates according to when it is turned on and off in the past three
days, determines the hypothetical virtual midnight versus which the
decrease will be applied according to the profile for which the device was
configured.
For the Cosmopolis products with the Lumistep protocol, GEWISS supplies
a standard 8-hour version (non-modifiable), acting two hours before and
six hours after the virtual midnight. LED Lumistep devices can also be
configured through a set of resistances (included) to mount between the
two signal cables (as shown in the following diagram). The DALI option,
provided by Gewiss only on products with Cosmopolis technology, provides
utmost flexibility of configuration, with up to 5 levels of dimming that can
be set on the device and/or which can be controlled by a communications
protocol.

STREET LIGHTING SYSTEMS The Street range is completed with innovative Street [O3] Maxi street lighting, which is able
to satisfy lighting needs for main, extra urban and high-speed streets. They are particularly
suited for use in environments with high temperatures.

The Street [O3] range is complete with the new Street [O3] Maxi
range, which is able to guarantee a lumen package of up to 24,290lm
(10 modules) for lighting extra urban, high-speed streets and more in
general for lighting all open spaces that require a high level of lighting.
More power for larger streets
Street [O3] Maxi is a product that is particularly suited for use in
environments with high temperatures.
Resistance to high temperatures
Thanks to the complete separation of electric / electronic parts from
the device body, the Street [O3] Maxi device is protected against induced
overvoltages greater than 6KV in common mode, in accordance with
Standard EN 61000-4-5 and IEC 61000-4-5. (Certified by a third party
authority).
Overvoltage protection
All the LED lighting products of the Gewiss range offer the possibility
of an additional warranty for a further 3 years after the standard 2-year

Versatile installation
As well as the traditional street optic, there are now new optics for the
cycle/pedestrian environment and for lighting the centre of the road,
to better meet the lighting needs of various urban contexts.
