Christians today absolutely need to support Zionism

Christians today absolutely need to support Zionism

… Psalm 87-style Zionism

I will announce Rahab and Babylon as knowers of Me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. And of Zion it shall be said, “Each and every man is born in her”; and the most High himself shall establish her. – Psalm 87:4-5

Many teachers today say we should take the Scriptures literally.

Many teachers today say we should take the Scriptures literally.

But we should do as they say, and not as they do…

For they say “take the text literally” … but they do not.

Many teachers today say we should take the Scriptures literally.

But we should do as they say, and not as they do…

For they say “take the text literally” … but they do not.

Let’s look at how the Scriptures are routinely rewrittenin the service of a pessimistic outlook regarding the future.

“…and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.” Gen. 12:3

“…and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him” Gen. 18:18

“…and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed” Gen. 22:18

“…and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed” Gen. 26:4

“…nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” Isa. 2:4

“…of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isa. 9:7

“…not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit.” Zech. 4:6

“In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion also from the sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.” Psalm 72:7-8

“…And of Zion it shall be said, “Each and every man is born in her”; and the most High himself shall establish her. – Psalm 87:4-5

“In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing.” Ezek. 17:23

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.” – Isa. 45:22-23

“The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.” Matt. 13:33

“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” – John 3:17

“Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” – John 12:32

“Go and make disciples of all nations…” Matt. 28:18-20

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” John 16:7-8

“Which thing is true in Him and you, for the darkness is passing away, and the true light is shining already.” 1 John 2:8

“Blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved.” Rom. 11:25-26

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Pet. 3:9

“The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ: and he shall reign for ever and ever.” –Rev. 11:15

Psalm 110 reveals a COMMAND issued by the Father to the Son: “Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool… Thou shalt be a priest forever ever…”

Heb. 10:12-13: “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.”

“For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law.” Heb. 8:4

Zech. 6:13: “He shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.”

It’s time to bring our eschatology in line with Scripture, not to bring Scripture into line with our eschatology.

“He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” – Rom 4:20-21

In the second lecture, A Bright Future for God’s Law, we will also address the question of a future one-world government and whether or not the Bible teaches such a thing … and why.
