Pacific Northwest RegionalOur team won first place

in Ranger Class at the Pacific Northwest MATE Regional in Federal Way, Washington. We will be competing in the International MATE Championship this June.

We also won the Engineering Award.

Results:We learned a great deal as this was our first year where we participated in the underwater competition. One of the things we learned about were the techniques used for designing equipment for difficult environments. Also, we discovered how the work we were doing applied to the role of real-world research equipment

Our team made it to compete in the Quarterfinal elimination rounds, achieving our goals of improving our knowledge, experience, and standings each year.
