On July 7, Michael J. Moulios, president of the Lincoln Park Municipal Employees Retirees Association, Inc., filed a lawsuit at the Court of Claims in Troy to have his and other retiree's health benefits reinstated. The claim is filed against the State of Michigan, the Department of Treasury and the State Appointed Emergency Manager, who cut the benefits to help fix the city's finances.
