Piston Pump
In the suction process, the inlet valve is open, the outlet valve is closed, the piston is in the bottom. The piston retracts and a negative pressure is formed in the piston pump and the slurry is sucked in.
When the piston is in the top and the pump is full, the inlet valve is closed and the outlet valve opens. The piston presses downwards, creating an overpressure pressing the slurry out of the pump and further into the reception tank.
The two valves change back and the suction process will be repeated again.
