Lindsey - Martin Methodist SeriesSaturday’s game marks the fifth all-time meet-ing between the two programs. The Blue Raiders have won all four prior meetings -- the last a 60-59 win at Martin Methodist during the 2004-05 season. The only other neutral site game came on March 24, 2004 in the NAIA National Tournament -- a 70-53 LWC win.

Last Time OutFive Blue Raiders scored in double figures as Lindsey Wilson beat Robert Morris 78-68 on Friday night on the first day of the Lou Cun-ningham Classic. Martin Methodist shot just 33.3 percent from the field, but upset No. 18-ranked and host Campbellsville 67-64 in overtime.

Non-Conference FoesLindsey Wilson is 130-27 all-time against non-conference foes under coach Paul Peck, including 7-0 this season.

Lindsey Wilson at PowellLindsey Wilson is 32-19 all-time at Powell Ath-letic Center, including 22-2 against teams other than Campbellsville University. The Blue Raiders are 16-2 all-time in the Lou Cunningham Classic.

Nationally RankedLindsey Wilson’s No. 8 ranking marks the 14th consecutive poll the Blue Raiders have been ranked.

Recipe for SuccessLindsey Wilson’s success under coach Paul Peck revolves around two numbers, 70 and 50. When the Blue Raiders score 70 points in Peck’s 10-plus years, Lindsey Wilson is 175-23. Additional-ly, the Blue Raiders are 91-10 under Peck when they shoot at least 50 percent from the field. This season, LWC is 9-1 when scoring 70 points and 5-0 when shooting 50 percent.

Top-10 in ScoringLindsey Wilson’s Kalen Kimberland continued his ascent up the program’s all-time scoring list last week. His 1,155 points is fifth all-time and is 115 points away from Chris Dickerson’s 1,270 points for fourth place.

MSC Player of the WeekLindsey Wilson’s DeAntra Scott is the reigning Mid-South Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Scott averaged 21 points and nine rebounds per game last week in the Blue Raid-ers’ wins over No. 3-ranked Georgetown College and St. Catharine College. He shot 62.5 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free throw line.

Countdown to 500The Lindsey Wilson men’s basketball program is just seven wins away from 500 since becoming a four-year institution in 1987-88.
