PPFS performs functions from equipment removal to replacement. We can open or remove the piece of equipment, manufacture the parts for the repair, install the repaired parts, and reinstall the equipment. Whether a scheduled or unscheduled shutdown or turn around, PPFS has excellent tools and resources to manage outages in an efficient manner. PPFS has technical directors, superintendents, and project managers to execute procedures and processes in a timely manner. Our Project Team can oversee the return and reassembly of all components, while documenting all clearances, sizes, and as-left conditions of your equipment. PPRS (Repair Division) has the capability to perform and complete any repairs on-site when parts cannot be transported or customers want to keep repairs at their site. We perform turbine repairs for valves, diaphragms, rotors, deflectors, turning gears, pumps, shells, nozzles, strainers, gear boxes, and much more. Our experienced team works carefully to ensure quality work is performed on schedule. For over a decade, PPRS has disassembled, repaired, and assembled turbine valves for more than 60 power plants. Our extensive experience in valve assembly includes up to 900 MW turbines of various brands including GE, Westinghouse, and Allis.
