As you can see, I have a lot of people to be thankful for - and this is not an exhaustive list (I apologize to those I did

not name specifically), but I appreciate all your hard work and all that you do.

Please join me as we turn our calendars from summer to fall, as we gear up for the second quarter of this new Lions

year, as we face new challenges and turn them into wonderful opportunities to make our community the best

community in the State of Maryland.

Upcoming in October (I can’t believe it is actually October this week)

Golf Tournament on October 5th

Pit Sandwich Sale on October 10th - last of the year

H&F Railway Program on October 14th (program was a suggestion from a member)

Community Day Food Sales on October 17th

Charter Night on October 28th

AND, we will be presenting our check to the town for our community’s Gateway to the Cure Challenge.

AND, Lion Joann is taking orders for our annual Christmas ornament - yes, I said the “C” word - it is coming and fast.

We will start planning the Veteran’s Grave marking; the nursing home service project; Friendship Night; the Melvin

Jones Meeting for January 3rd

, and oh, did I mention we are doing a brand new fundraiser: selling fudge at Christmas

time.

Unfortunately, the news isn’t all rosy. Due to the pandemic, Lions Doug and Don have cancelled their Christmas

Extravaganzas this year. We will all look forward to all the amazing new trees they come up with for next year.

September Pit Sandwich Sales Break Records (Contributed by Lion Don K.)

The Labor Day weekend pit sandwich sale was expected to be very busy since it was a

holiday weekend and the weather was perfect. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT US! We

had extra meat and rolls on hand, but we still had to go get more rolls. We didn't sell

out of any meat, but we had very little left. We sold a total of 735 sandwiches and 710

pounds of meat. The club made $5,135 profit. All of these statistics are records by far.

Our September 19th

pit sandwich sale was a bit of an unknown since we have not done

a second sale in September. However, we had some good advertising a few days in

advance and folks showed up to support us. It was another excellent sale, as we sold

more than 650 sandwiches and sold out of everything except a small amount of pork

BBQ. The club made a profit of $4,763 which was the second best sale ever, behind (Lion Bob Kells' dog “Lickin good”!)

the Labor Day sale. A huge thank you to everyone who helped to make the day a big success for our club!

The final sale of the year will be on October 10th which would have been Colorfest weekend. It

is also a bit of an unknown, but we expect a good crowd since it will be the last sale of the year.

Many folks will likely be out leaf peeping. Also, we will be collecting items for Wares for

Warriors and the homeless veterans, in addition to donating a portion of the proceeds from that

day's pit sandwich sales. A flyer is attached to the newsletter regarding this event.

I am very pleased to say that we had an extremely successful orientation on September 15th. In attendance, to gather more understanding of the Lions Clubs International organization, were Lion Maxine Troxell, Lion Julie Eiseman, Lion Jerry Skeim and 2nd VP Marci Veronie. Presenters included Zone Chair Bob Johnson, PCC Bob Muchow, IPP Joyce Anthony, Secretary and I. In addition, President Susan Favorite made some very welcoming, educational and inspiring comments. There are not enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation to everyone that attended the orientation. They displayed characteristics of true Lions. I will explain! St. John’s Lutheran Church became unavailable at literally the last minute. We called Mountain Gate Restaurant, and they were able to provide us some space in the back left corner. It was not a great environment for a presentation, but it worked. However, everyone was committed to making the necessary changes to complete the orientation. They were patient, understanding and above all interactive. The Membership Committee’s first goal is to have new members attend orientation within the first month of induction. The second goal is to assign a mentor for their first year of being a Lion. Anyone wishing to be a mentor, please contact me. SVDG Nadja Muchow Membership Chair

Peace Through Service We are moving in the right direction! Three schools would like to participate. However, it has been very difficult to arrange meetings/conversations with them because their schools are in different phases of student’s returning to school. Nevertheless, we have made some progress. I met in person with Karolyn Myers, Mother Seton School, on September 27th, Laura Ritchie, Home Instruction Monitor, conference call on September 29th, and Stephanie Strenko, Thurmont Middle School, conference call September 25th. Peace Poster Chair, Lion Nancy Keller-Bonde, has rescheduled due dates as follows:

* October 31: District judging. Place and time to be

announced.

* November 7: Presentation of the winning poster at the

2nd Cabinet meeting

As a result of changing the District judging date, I have asked President Susan and Secretary IPP Joyce to please allow club Peace Poster judging to be done at Charter Night on October 28th. Lion Carie and I will then deliver Thurmont Lions Club winner to Chair Lion Nancy Keller-Bonde. SVDG Nadja Muchow, Peace Poster Chair 1

Charter Night (Contributed by President Susan)

On October 28th, the Thurmont Lions Club will celebrate its 91st birthday. While we had a

wonderful celebration last year at our 90th, we will be much more low-key this year. But once you

hit 90 every birthday is important, so we hope that you will join us this year at 6:30 pm at St

John’s Lutheran Church, upstairs in the church proper.

We have a wonderful evening planned and, at the end of the evening, some birthday cake will be served downstairs in

the room where we normally meet. At this time, we will be judging the peace posters.

We are celebrating our long-term members, those with key anniversaries in membership and even a surprise or

two. FVDG Charlie Croft will be joining us with the District Greetings and PID Dick Liebno will be there as a special

guest.

You don’t need to RSVP this year, and no, there will not be a wonderful Shamrock dinner, BUT, we do have one

surprise up our sleeve that you do not want to miss. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Programs (Contributed by Lion George)

At our September 9th meeting, we enjoyed learning about Lions Camp Merrick from Diabetic Camp Nurse Jennifer

Knauff. Jennifer and her parents, PDG Gerry Beachy and Lion Sue, drove all the way from Cumberland to join us.

Jennifer’s informative slide show revealed the beautiful setting of Lions Camp Merrick on the

eastern bank of the Potomac River south of Washington, and her description of the history and

day-to-day operations of the camp was most interesting. Jennifer left us with an important

message: If you know someone who has a child who suffers with diabetes, please encourage them

to take advantage of the opportunity to send that child to Lions Camp Merrick next summer.

Thanks to Lion Wes, our September 23rd

meeting featured Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford

visiting us virtually via Zoom. The Lieutenant Governor described Governor Hogan’s strong and

solid leadership in managing Maryland’s response to the COVID-19

pandemic. He spoke of Governor Hogan’s willingness to listen to his medical

experts in formulating and implementing the phased steps to enable return to

normal operations as safely as possible. Mayor John Kinnaird joined us for this

meeting, and, as usual, provided nice photographic coverage on his Facebook

page.

As you know, we are still observing all of the rules and restrictions related to the COVID-19 virus. Our meetings are

held at 6:30 pm at Saint John Lutheran Church and can be attended virtually if you don’t feel comfortable attending in

person. The link to attend virtually is forwarded with the agenda for each meeting.

Coming up on October 14th, our speaker will be Ruben Moss, Curator and Vice President of the Hagerstown and

Frederick Railway Historical Society. Ruben will be presenting a slide show about the trolley system that connected

Frederick and Hagerstown, including Thurmont, and how it evolved over the years. This program should prove to be

an interesting supplement to what we as a Club have learned about the trolley trail and the actions we have taken and

funded in preserving it.

Then, on October 21st, we host the House of Representatives District 8 Candidates’ Forum at the Thurmont Town

Office. Incumbent Democrat Jamie Raskin and Republican challenger Gregory Coll will tell us why we should vote for

them and respond to questions concerning some of the several serious issues now facing our nation, as well as our

district. Beginning at 6:45 pm, the Forum will be live-streamed on both Thurmont Channel 99 and the Thurmont Lions

Facebook page. Regrettably, COVID-19 social-distancing restrictions limits in-person attendance.

Our second October meeting is on the 28th, when we celebrate our 91

st anniversary as a club! This meeting is in the

sanctuary (upstairs) of Saint John Lutheran Church, beginning at 6:30 pm.

In November, our first meeting is on the 11th, which is Veterans Day. Our speaker that evening will be Elizabeth Fuss,

author of “A Faithful Soldier Writes Home”. Elizabeth will share with us some of her father’s experiences during

WWII in Europe, gleaned from letters he wrote to her mother. This is a program you will be glad you attended!

President Susan has cancelled the second meeting in November, Thanksgiving Eve.

Enjoy this beautiful fall weather, and please stay safe! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Wares for Warriors (Contributed by Lion Don K.)

We are teaming up with the Maryland Patriot Guard to collect items for the Washington D.C.Veterans Community

Referral Center (CRRC) to help homeless or formerly homeless veterans and their families along with wounded

soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center.

We will be collecting items at our October 10th pit sandwich sale at Bell Hill Farm, Rt. 15 just north of Thurmont,

10:00 am – 3:00 pm. A portion of the proceeds from the pit sandwich sale that day will also be donated. A listing of

needed items is attached to this newsletter. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS I want to thank the Thurmont Lions Club for your expressions of love and kindness following the passing of my mom, Alice Kells. She lived a long and rewarding life that was full of many joys, and I will remember her with fondness and love all the rest of my days. The card you sent was a beautiful reminder of how we are connected to one another through the Club. Knowing you held us in your prayers helped sustain us through our grief, giving us hope for better days ahead. I was also thrilled to learn of the Club’s donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Alice. Like too many other people, my mom struggled for years with dementia and, later, Alzheimer's. This terrible disease robs those we love of perhaps their greatest treasure in old age—their memories of their lives and the family and friends they love. Your donation in her memory will make a difference in the ongoing fight against Alzheimer's. I pray, along with those whose family members struggle with this disease, for the day when future generations will not have to bear the pains of watching a loved one suffer with this disease. Once again, I thank you for your donation. Through service projects and fundraisers, the Thurmont Lions Club generously gives to the people of this area code and beyond. I am grateful for the work we do and the camaraderie we enjoy together as we serve to improve the quality of life for our community. Thank you for being Lions. Thank you for being friends. Thank you for your expressions of support in our time of need. Yours in Lionism, Bob Kells

9/11 Community Tribute (Contributed by Lion George, Chair, 9/11 Community Tribute)

We had a great turn out, about 200 people, for the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony honoring the memory of the nearly 3,000

Americans who lost their lives in the viscous attacks on the USA nearly two decades ago. The ceremony was held in

the early evening of Friday, September 11th, at Memorial Park in Thurmont. Participants included Scout Troop 270,

American Legion Post 168, Sons of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Revolution, Father Collin

Poston and the Gateway Brass Ensemble. President Susan Favorite delivered a touching and thoughtful address, and

Lion Carie Stafford did an excellent job as the “Drill Sergeant” for the combined color guard. The sequence of events

for the program is shown below. We plan to sponsor this ceremony every year. Thanks to Lions Marci Veronie and

Joyce Anthony for their excellent support. This event was an example of how a community can come together to honor

the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation. It was an awesome event, and we are

grateful for the support from all of you who were able to attend. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

CATOCTIN HIGH SCHOOL LEOS: UNDAUNTED (Contributed by Lion Bob K.)

Working together under the current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions is a challenge, but the CHS LEOs are up to the

task. The club has dwindled a bit in numbers since last year because we were not able to recruit in September as we

have done in the past. Nevertheless, what we lack in numbers, we hope to make up for in serving this year.

Over the summer, we had three LEO’s help out with the TLC pit sandwich sales. Each LEO worked a two-hour shift

ensuring orders were filled and food given to the right customer. Thanks to Kyle Dutrow, Quinn Law-Knotts, and Nick

Veronie for assisting with the sales during the busiest hours.

Plans are underway right now for our first virtual meeting of the year. Our intrepid CHS faculty advisor, Ms. Trish

Steele, is with us for another year, and we look forward to her guidance and assistance.

Clubs at CHS will meet on Friday once a month. The agenda for our first meeting will be full, beginning with the

election of Club officers for the year. We will also ask for volunteers to help with the last pit sandwich sale on

October 10th

, and for some assistance tidying up our garden spot on the Thurmont Trolley Trail. The Thurmont Green

Team has asked if we can help with tree planning at Eyler Park on November 7.

It’s hard to say what the future holds for the Club beyond this, but if the past is any guide—and I’m sure it is—we will

find some wonderful ways to contribute to our community this year as we have in years past.

I’m looking forward to another year of CHS LEO service, experience and growth, and I hope you are too! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Weller UMC Taking Part in the Blanket & Pillow Drive (Contributed by Lion Bob K.)

The Lions Club’s blanket and pillow drive for the homeless has another partner in town. Weller United Methodist

Church will be collecting pillows, blankets and sneakers to donate to the homeless through the Thurmont Lions Club.

Full disclosure here: I am the pastor of Weller UMC. I know a worthy cause when I see one, and so do the members of

our church. Helping the homeless is a wonderful way to help alleviate the suffering of our most vulnerable neighbors,

so we are glad to lend a hand with this project.

During the month of October, Weller UMC will receive donations of new pillows, new or used blanket and new or

used sneakers. We will turn these over to the club at the end of the month. Donations of these items are being received

during the church’s worship services on Sunday mornings, and during regular office hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays,

8:30 AM – 3 PM. We also have a couple who will pick up donations at home and bring them to the church.

A few years ago, Weller had a boot and blanket drive for the homeless. My challenge to the congregation was to

donate enough blankets to build a stack as tall as me. Now, if we think of our tallest Lions (Wes and Paul come

to mind), can we challenge the club to build a stack as tall as them? Ladies and Gentlemen, the challenge is on!

the frowny face was when we hadn’t reached our

goal, the smiley face was at the end of the project.

I remember this project as though it were yesterday. The

number of blankets collected was amazing. I had my truck

full of blankets that were collected by the Thurmont Lions

Club and Weller UMC. Thank you Lion Bob for your

dedication to such a worthy cause. (Lion Joyce)

Eyeglass Recycling August 2020 (Contributed by Lion Dianne)

Just a reminder that we have used eyeglass collection boxes at the following locations: outside of Goodwill, outside

Med One Pharmacy, at the Thurmont Regional Library, Mountain Gate Restaurant’s lobby and Bell Hill. Everyone

has been very generous with recycling used eyeglasses and hearing aids, and I would like to thank all who have

brought eyeglasses to our club meetings.

Also, as a reminder should you be asked about eyeglass collection, please advise donors that only intact glasses are

accepted; no broken frames, missing lenses or lenses wthout frames. All eyeglasses must have prescription lenses,

including sunglasses. Empty eyeglass cases are welcomed if in a good condition.

Thank you to all Lions who generously collect and donate eyeglasses for our club. We are continuing to support the

Lions mission of helping the visually impaired worldwide.

A total of 63 eyeglasses were collected for August 2020. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

golfers, please come out and support the club and the community. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thurmont Lions Club Christmas Ornament for 2020 (Contributed by Lion Joann Miller)

The Thurmont Lions Club Christmas Ornament for 2020 has been produced and numbered. This ornament is the

TWELFTH in a series of Christmas ornaments that have

been sold by the Thurmont Lions Club. This ornament

depicts the Creager Furniture store located on 21 East

Main Street in Thurmont.

Once again, this image features the artwork of the very

talented local artist and Lion Member Rebecca Pearl.

This beautiful artwork is titled “Creager’s Furniture

Store”. As in the past, the ornament is a limited-edition

treasure of 350 ornaments produced at a cost of $10.60

(includes tax). Along with the 2020 ornament, a written

history of the building will be included with each ornament.

A sign-up sheet will be available at the TLC Membership meetings or you can call or email Lion Joann Miller at 301-

271-3913 or [email protected] to reserve your ornament(s).

Honoring a Thurmont Lions Club member (Contributed by IPP Joyce)

During each monthly meeting President Susan will be honoring a member of the Thurmont

Lions Club. The member’s name is randomly picked. For the September 23rd

meeting,

Lion Jan Ely was honored.

Lion Jan worked for the Frederick County government in the department that had

charge of the recycling bins.

Lion Jan’s worst frustration this past week was her computer crashed

Lion Jan’s best vacation was her trip to Hawaii and her many cruises

Lion Jan’s dream vacation is a trip to Alaska (but she could take five carribean

cruises for one trip to Alaska)

Congratulations Lion Jan for being the honored member. We are blessed to have Lion Jan

as a member of our Lions family. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Wildlife Needs Help Calling all crafters: Our wildlife needs our help! (Contributed by Lion Carie)

From the fires of Australia a non-profit group, ARC, Animal Rescue Craft Guild, was established that quickly became

a life line for wildlife careers/rescuers. Items other than food and supplies were needed. Specialized items specifically

for wildlife, and where to find those, you need to make them. Crafters around the world came together to help

Australia's wildlife in its time of need.

Seeing how successful ARC was, volunteers got together and started a crafters guild for the United States, CARA:

Crafters & Artisans for Rescued Animals. This group is made up of volunteers that want to do something to help our

wildlife. There are specific patterns needed for different rescues and the nice thing is, you can make whatever items on

the list you want and a rescue will need them.

The fires in CA, WA & OR have not only affected people, our wildlife is also in trouble. Rescues are in need of items,

and YOU can help. How? Join CARA and the CARA Disaster Team and start crafting. All the instructions on what

to do and where to send the items is provided on the website/Facebook page. The website to start your adventure is

www.craftersforrescuedanimals.com.

Facebook is CARA: Crafters & Artisans for Rescued Animals.

We can do joint shipping to save on costs. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Mini Barter (Contributed by Lion Gayle)

There will be several items for auction at the October 14th meeting. We will be enjoying different items at each

meeting to be auctioned off. A sign up sheet will be available to place your name to help make this event a success.

We are hoping members will sign up so there will be three items at each meeting. Look around and see if there is

anything you would like to donate, especially holiday décor at this time of the year. Homemade baked goods are

always welcomed. These funds will help to supplement our Administrative Account. Thank you in advance for

supporting the club. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Honoring Our Veterans (Contributed by IPP Joyce) Veterans Day is fast approaching. The Thurmont Lions Club is honoring our Veterans, living and deceased, and those

who gave their all in the line of duty. We have started a program to display a banner on the light posts throughout

Thurmont for the 21788 zip code. These banners would include a picture of the Veteran, their name, rank, branch of

service, date of service and war era.

Mercersburg Printing located in Mercersburg, PA is printing the banners. I have delivered 30 applications to date and

have approximately six or so applications ready to be delivered. I know of four more that are in the mail. There are

several club members who are Veterans that I have not received an application. The date has been extended through

Page 9: Lion Breezes...July logo winner was Marci Veronie August logo winner was Sandy Duley September logo winner was Don Ely October’s contest guess was due in on September 30 - …

November 15th. This is just a small way to honor our veterans and show our appreciation for each

of you. Veteran Lion members, wouldn’t you be honored to see your picture on a banner hanging

in Thurmont to reflect your honor and duty to our country? We anticipate honoring 60 Veterans

during November and May.

Please bring your application to our next meeting and give to IPP Joyce. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Vice District Governor’s Service Challenge “Kindness in Action” (Contributed by Lion Nancy)

Lion Nancy Echard has volunteered to chair DG Barbara’s service challenge “Kindness in Action”. The number of

homeless individuals seeking assistance is increasing, and it is hard for those unable to secure shelter. This is a great

opportunity to complete a single act of kindness. You can donate new or gently used clean bed blankets and new bed

pillows. Donating these items will also give you a ‘warm’ feeling, as well as those who have no shelter this winter.

Also, Lion Nancy is doing a “Sneaker Drive” to supplement the sneaker drive fundraiser

being sponsored by the Middletown Lions Club. Clean out your closets of all unwanted

paired sneakers (adult sizes 5 and up). Please, only donate athletic footwear (no boots,

heels, sandals, dress shoes).

Lion Nancy has collected a few items, but definitely many more are needed. The days

are getting cooler and the nights colder. We want to be sure most of our needy families

have the warmth they need to survive the winter. There is a large box on Lion Nancy’s

Annual Christmas Party (Contributed by IPP Joyce)

We hope everyone will be able to join us for the annual Christmas party which will be held on December 5th at the

Carriage House in Emmitsburg, MD from 12:30 – 3:00 pm. Social time will begin at

12:30 with a cash bar. A plated lunch will be served at 1:00 pm, and the program will

begin approximately 1:30 pm. The program this year is new and exciting. It is one that

you do not want to miss! This is truly an opportunity to focus on relaxation, fun and

fellowship with our Lions family and spouses. The event will be adhering to the

wearing of masks and social distancing. A sign up sheet will be passed around at the

next several meeting. MARK YOUR CALENDAR! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Visitations 2020-2021 (Contributed by IPP Joyce)

There are still many clubs available that Lion members have not signed up to visit this year.

For the new members, as well as the senior members, the club is required to visit all the clubs within Region III, three

clubs outside of the region and one club outside of the District. The clubs listed on the Visitation schedule are

suggestions for outside Region III visits. You may choose your own club to visit. Each visitation requires two

members, but you may have three or four members.

Presently, most of the clubs are meeting virtual or zoom. If you schedule your visit early, you may be able to do your

visit without leaving your home. You can ask the president or secretary of the club you are visiting to send you an

email to indicate you made your visitation via virtual or zoom. A visitation sign up sheet will be circulated at the

meetings. At this time, the District has not provided any relief as to whether all the clubs will need to complete 100

percent of their visitations.

IPP Joyce will have visitation slips available at the meetings or she can email you a visitation slip. Please give your

visitation slip or email it to IPP Joyce. All visitations must be completed by May 15, 2021.

Thank you in advance for signing up to perform one or two visits to other clubs. *********************************************************************************************************************************

concern for our fellow members is a very important part of our life together as Lions.

Prayer for our TLC Members, friends and family who are in need of prayer and support during their

illness and recovery: Heavenly Father, we lift up all those who are facing various illnesses. Give them the hope and courage they need today and every day. Comfort their pain, calm their fears and surround them with your peace. Amen

Those with Acute Needs for our prayers:

Russ Rykaczewski (Marci’s brother-in-law) lives in Pittsburgh and is unable to move his lower

extremities. (Please keep Marci’s sister, Marlene Rykaczewski, in your prayer also)

Those with Long Term Needs for our continued prayers and support:

Lions Joann Cannada, Jan Ely, Ross Smith, Glenn Rickard

PCC Bob Muchow had a shoulder replacement. He is doing well.

Sympathy thoughts and prayers: You hold time within your hands, and see it all, from beginning to end. Please keep and carry these precious people in their sadness and loss. Cover them with your great wings of love; give their weary hearts rest and their minds sound sleep. Lord, lift their eyes so that they may catch a glimpse of eternity, and be comforted by the promise of heaven. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

Prayer for TLC Family and their members who are serving our country: Almighty God, Lord of Hosts, we call out to you as the One who is sovereign over all. Watch over and protect our nation’s military members and their families. Sustain them with your everlasting arms as they serve around the world. We ask that you guard their families and loved ones back home. Amen

We pray for:

James Harman – Grandson of PDG Paul & JoAnn Cannada

Don DiSalvo – Son of Lion Gayle DiSalvo

Justin and Jordon Volvicak – Grandsons of Lion Gayle DiSalvo

Josh and Adam Long - Grandsons of Lion Bill Long
