Lion Ken and Lion Amy both grew up in the San Francisco Peninsula area and have been life partners for over 20 years. They each have two adult children, and lovingly share the attention of two beautiful granddaughters. They have both been very active in the local community, and not just with their Lions activities. Lion Amy is an experienced and well- respected travel agent and retail fashion stylist, in addition to also serving as a member of the local Rotary club. Lion Ken is a longtime practicing architect and business owner and served on the San Bruno City Council for 22 years. Lion Ken and Lion Amy have been very involved with the special needs community and strive to help those affected by cancer. They share the joy of traveling both locally and abroad. A proud and active member of the San Bruno Lions Club since 1992, Lion Ken has a great appreciation for Lions providing ongoing service to help improve our communities and help those in need. Since his early years as a member, Lion Ken has benefited from the guidance and support of many mentors. Because of them, he more fully understands the importance of ongoing learning, leadership development, and building lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect. To this day, Lion Ken continues to seek the challenge of serving in roles of increasing responsibility to help develop Lion leaders at the club, District and Multiple District levels.
